Saving Issues (With Cloud) & Lost all cars & progress

HI

I’ve been having intermittent problems with this cloud storage which I will try to list in a methodical order - to help with anyone who may know how to sort this;

  • Problems seemed to start when it first synced with the cloud storage
  • Has become extremely temperamental with saving games as follows;

Seems to save when buying a new car, but some times doesn’t.
Extremely high chance of ‘File failed to save’ when bought a physical car modification (IE brakes, lower suspension, spoilers etc)

  • It began that it would happen once every few days - with the only solution being deleting my Gamertag from the Xbox, Deleting the local saved data, clearing MAC address, restarting console & downloading it all again.

  • This would solve the ‘File failed to save’ issue for a while - however the period of error-free periods has decreased over time, where I am now unable to save at all - no matter how many re-downloads etc.

Being level 138 I could do without losing the progress I’ve made…

Several hours of talking to Xbox support has proved worthless and I’m still stuck in the same position - so hopefully someone will be able to help me.

Also I noticed the like, car snapshop of my Acura Integra is non existent - where as all other vehicles have one.

Also I should add this is the same with another gamer tag on the xbox - neither are able to save anything.

I have tried uninstalling & reinstalling the game to no avail.

13:16 GMT: Microsoft have determined the save is corrupt and there’s nothing they can do. I’ve had to delete & start again and lost all my cars & progress - if anyone can help me reinstate some of my cars I’d appreciate it - I have video proof of the total play time, winnings, cars in my garage, completion etc etc…

Unfortunately, I don’t think there is anything we can do to help. If you had a local fle you could try running from that.

This is the problem with cloud saves where a file is constantly being sent back and forth, the more it travels the higher the chances are that somewhere, something may go wrong through no fault of your own. It sucks when it happens, but hopefully as time goes n Microsoft can make it less likely to happen. Either that or they start letting saves remain local and not always having to do cloud sync so that this doesn’t happen as much - I never saw this many “Help my gamesave is gone” issues on the Xbox 360.

I’ve heard that others who lost everything have received a payout of credits from Turn10 in compensation/goodwill - Please can someone arrange the same for me?!

Oh, andI also had $1,757,366 credits when the game/save broke too - taking it to a total of $11,108,666

Hello turn10, I have a problem of protection(saving) on FO Rza 5 who has entrainé the loss of all my liveries, vinyl, automobile and approximately 37.000.000 CR it would be possible that turn10 sends back to(dismisses) me my files or the equivalent Somme(Sum) of CR to be able to begin again forza 5 because I crossed(spent) 3000 hours there. I know how you feel, I lost all my cars, affinity on those cars, tokens, everything. So I would like to know from those at Turn 10. Do I have to buy all these yet again? I’ve been told by MS that I must start from scratch and do the game all over again, why should I? Turn 10 are aware of these glitches, yet fail to do anything about it, in fact I really don’t think they care. They’ve had our money, so why bother. It makes me wonder, should I cancel my Horizon 2 pre order or hope that it has no problems? I never had problems with my 360 in over 7 years but with the XBone ??? Cloud storage, stick it.

You have to be kidding me… This thread has been up here for a month and nobody from turn10 has even taken the time to respond to any of you? Come on devs… These guys have been supporting your games for several years now. The least you could do is post to acknowledge you are aware of their issue even if you don’t care enough to help them re aquire the in game assets they were unfairly shafted out of.

I agree with you I have had no reply n I began to be disappointed forza is my Favorite racing game I start playing forza 3 in 2009 would be a shame that the adventure stops

I had the same problem two months ago … I have never been answered, nor even … I have returned credits and cars …! This is outrageous! … I was at level 193

I was around level 182 and had just over 8,000,000 credits and owned a few Lambo’s etc… and all gone.

Please help restore this or please sort me out with something. I have no idea how many hours I put into this to earn these cars and build up this credit and driver level.

Also I am having issues with tracks crashing on the load screen! The game is unplayable right now :frowning:

Yeah same has just happened to me. Tried to play and there was a problem with the sync , it said the cloud data was newer than the console data and wouldnt sync. Now its as if the game is brand new ,i was at lvl500 now i’m reinstalling to see if it will work. On this website my progress is still there , proof of my progress.if this doesnt get fixed i shall be buying no more turn10 games

hello community, following synchronization which resulted in the loss of my backup I uninstall the game and reinstall the only things you perder are: level, cars and your currency. For my part settings, vinyls and are always delivered. latest info thought retrieve your reewards.:grin::heart_eyes::stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::laughing:
