I am switching to a new xbox console and i will be use the same account that is on my old console will all of my progress switch to my new console or will it get deleted ?
if you’re using the same account I would assume you would keep your stuff (and progress) as I switched pc’s but used the same account and kept my stuff and progress.

It should work fine but may take a while to fully sync.

I’m assuming it’ll be the same as when I had to reset my console recently. Sign into your account and it should sync but will take… A while lol

It’s been a couple of years since I switched from an Xbox 1X to a Series X console. Everything synced properly and I don’t believe I lost anything. I was also able to switch between them with both syncing new saves that were made for a while. It’s should happen seamlessly.
I would make a note of the last thing I did on the old one before the sync. Buy a cheap car from the autoshow or something. When the new one is synced and loaded check that it’s there. If something seems wrong stop and look for advice. I really wouldn’t expect any problems though.

The saves on Xbox are on the Cloud, you can change Xbox as many times you want as long as you use the same account.

Log into your new Xbox with your account.
Install game on new Xbox.
Start game, wait for profile to sync…

Just log into your new Xbox with your Microsoft account that you use, the same one from your old Xbox.
Saves are cloud based

Will iy still keep the saves from the game if it is a disc for forza horizon 5?
you should do, the saves are linked to the account; all a disc does is it tells the xbox that playing the game is allowed
