Meetup etiquette?

I don’t want to prove anything to you. It’s already clear that you are weak in the auto culture as a whole since you don’t know anything about it.

I just wana know if its worth reporting ppl in meetup like it is in online MP. Its tedious to do.

Some ppl simply don’t care about such stuff. Until 3 years ago or something I didn’t even know who Walter Röhrl is, because I don’t care about such stuff. It’s simply irrelevant to me, car history and culture and all that nonsense. For me it’s all about the cars themselves and the racetracks and nothing else, no anecdotes and useless other crap.

It happens! No offense bro!

regular race isn’t what he is talking about.

He is looking for a meet up where the focus is racing, because by this way you don’t have to deal with lap/time limit or tracks rotation, you just chill and race on the tracks (can cruise/tune too instead of being forced to race), i think his request is related to FK or Nord and touge racing, so things you don’t find on regular race.

You can find some if you are lucky on meetup.

But it’s better to search or create a ticket for that.

I’d like to be able to search or create a lobby who is free to join for those who match the restrictions, because the ticket system is just bad

I feel this one, regular race is most of the time peoples who care about the fastest lap or to be 1st, no problem with that, but i’m more interested about a close race who doesn’t force you to go onto some meta. I like to run such weird thing like a 86 with skinny street tyres, it’s more suitable for meet up than regular race

I knew I would find understanding!

I’m going to throw in my 2 cents here. Until the subject of touge (playing on the streets) came out in forza. I knew nothing about it. And as far as car culture goes, I grew up in car culture and consider myself to have a strong base and background in a wide and diverse environment of car culture. Just maybe not in your eastern Asian car culture. As I’d likely assume @JohnDoe9302 hasn’t got a strong background in the eastern Asian car culture. For many westerners and Europeans it’s probably not “common knowledge” as you say. At least maybe it wasn’t until the video games brought it out more. I would say it’s a safe bet there’s a lot of US and European car culture you know little about. So don’t go saying someone is still very young in car culture when you don’t know the whole story. The whole story might surprise you.

You might find that there are old men in the US who’s Grandparents were running outlaw races on Mulholland Boulevard or the Blue Ridge Parkway before those touge kid’s parents ever got their first cars. And most likely with trunks full of moonshine. Car culture lesson 101, the roots of NASCAR and NHRA.

facepalm

I’m seriously getting fed up with this nonsense now and Forza Support dont seem to care. I’ve report 4 players this week and Support have done absolutely nothing about them, as I’ve seen all 4 players again tonight doing the exact same thing. A great feature ruined by these selfish idiots (and that’s being polite)

T10 seriously need to add an anti griefing ghosting system for Meet ups like PGG have in FH5.

It’s not that hard to find in Nordschleife lobby tbh. Even on FK I’ve met people who are willing to race.

And tickets/private lobbies are just too much for me (requests, invitations, parties, asking to invite again if you get disconnected, managing invites and being constantly distracted etc).
I like the format of public meetup where you just come and go as you wish without extra steps. I think additional chat options could be very beneficial in meetups, but it’s not critical.

Honestly, i don’t see why they should be banned for this, not saying their right but it’s to Turn10 to just put a ghosting system.

I don’t know if other tracks meet up have a reverse option like FK have, but i would’ve loved to race at a reversed track on multiplayers oppers for example, for the simple reason that a reversed track is a new experience, like a proper new track.

A Touge Ticket, interesting. Send a request.
Players send you an invitation to the party.

Players : Yesterday i eat good noodles. Hi opudalo1337 did you get a mic ?

opudalo1137 is writing … : No

opudalo1137 is still waiting 15 min later for an invitation to the lobby

Why i can’t just join and race ? :joy::joy::joy:

Lol that’s relatable. Though there were many people who hosted track day meetups with no extra steps (I salute them), some were just funny with the strict microphone rules. Yeah dude I got a mic but I just want to play a game and chill, not to discuss geopolitical conspiracy theories :joy:

I was doing private MP racing for a few leagues a while ago and the system they have in place for getting everyone in the right server is absolutely stupid lol. Such a hassle.

Was it a red Toyota MR2?

Perfect idea . I’m so tired of drifting for 20-40mins getting high scores just for some rammer to hit me thinking it’s funny that he ruined my score and line. I tried reporting some players but they don’t get banned . I’m gonna start recording when that happens so I can show proof of the situation and get them suspended atleast from that playlist . Maybe that’ll set them straight knowing they can get banned. Plus I dont mind people racing in Fujimi kaido drift meet ups, but they need to learn to have respect of the roads this one guy just kept gaslighting and acting like he did nothing wrong .

Maybe if there was a track day race at fujimi and not just a drift maybe they would head over to that one?

Yeah when im racing at fujimi drift meetup whenever i come to a drifter i just follow behind and watch until they either crash, straighten out, or its a straight where i can def get by.

Idk how you drifters do it. Ive never got higher then 13k lol. Guy at fujimi was high score with 10 times that

I would that is for certain.

I also exclusively race at fujimi drift when there.

Ive actually joined the cycled trackday meetup that was there and it was great.

T10 floated the idea of having more meetup options that were more specific so hopefully theyre still working on that. Hopefully they realize people really wanna drive fast there.
