This isnt just Forza Horizon 3, but all games in the forza series. I don’t get why when you look at certain vinyls on the car either in forzavista or when driving in bonnet cam that many vinyls look attrocious. They can often look so blocky and blurry. I spend hours getting a logo absolutely perfect, yet when placed on a car they looked bad, and sometimes awful. looking back at games two Xbox generations ago vinyls in bonnet cam when racing are far superior to what we see here. Everytime a new Forza arrives i hope that this will be rectified, but remains the same.
Ya i hate it too, another reason why i dont apply too much decals.
Funny thing is, the cars created by Turn 10 (All-Star) pack have beautiful Liveries.
Its not like it cant be done.
If you can, replace solid shapes with gradients where possible. For example you can use a couple of gradient lines to replace a solid line. It looks the same but for some reason the gradients don’t seem to pixellate like the solid shapes do. It helps with the aliasing on edges.
I shall give it a go thankyou
I tried everything possible, from using gradients lines (which can’t be always used for everything) and adding an almost transparent layer, with no luck
I also don’t understand why the all-star pack is able to have this kind of perfect small vinyls :
while all I can have at best is a blurry mess. It was already like that in FH2 (while pretty clean in FM6), but it seems that it’s even worse in FH3.
