High def, how do they do it?

Hi all,

Is there somebody who can tell me how to make those nice sharp edged figures in paint like
the pros around here? I know basic painting and vinyl applying but how do you all get those
exact shapes? I can’t figure it out, perhaps a tutorial out there somewhere?

Please help is appreciated.

Thanks

Not sure what you mean? Can you show an example or explain better please?

Well, those race livery’s here are extremely sharp in defintion and are in credibly accurate. But when I try to make logo’s and sponsors the standard edge of a particular shape is really blury or unsharpe. I’ve noticed this in FM4 too. And I was wondering how pro’s get those cars to look soo sharp and precise.

If you resize a vinyl group it tends to lose some fidelity. Try making the logo in the exact size you want it and see if it fairs better.

^ This!

Any in game manufacture logos will pixelate to hell! The sharpness comes from the painter creating the exact copies using the livery editor that’s why they look so much sharper.

Want them sharp?! Make them larger (double to triple the size) make sure the edges are smooth and then your away with quality logos (but they do take time!)
