As the title says, I just want to be able to enjoy any season at any time if I so choose. I can understand the open matchmade online world needing to stick to a seasonal schedule, but it’s so frustrating when I want to tune a high-end track racer, but it’s winter, or I want to drive through the cherry blossoms, but it’s fall, or I want to take on ice and snow, but it’s summer.
The ability to choose what season I’m in would just heighten the my ability to enjoy the seasons so much more, and forcing them on me makes me resentful of them. Plus, being able to host a private session where we can choose the season can help a lot with online community building and retention, since we can set our own schedule and events associated with the seasons as an addition on top of the open matchmaking schedule.
It really would enrich the social experience of the game along with the driving experience.
