I don’t understand why we can’t do this. Just let us pick which season we are in when playing solo. Would also be great if the default choice on events defaulted to the season we are in.
This would be such a key feature for future iterations of the franchise as well, since making seasons a choice would allow for things like an uncompromising winter (like it was in the Blizzard Mountain expansion) as opposed to a lackluster and compromised experience (like in FH4’s winter season). You can’t really have an uncompromising winter when the player can’t escape it.
