Petition: When I played FH4 the winter time was absolutely beautiful. In FH5 there is no winter. While some might say bUt wHaT aBuOt tHe mOuNtAiN. The mountain is tiny and there is no room for snow driving. Also who adds snow tyres to a game with BARELY no snow. Maybe it could be an expansion with the entire map being snow.
Blizzard Mountain truly was genius, a separate map with advanced snow physics. Before FH5 launched I really hoped that there was a part of the map that was covered in snow for at least 2 seasons or more, but at the same time at least 3/4 of the map not being covered in snow ever. It would be really great if we’d get a snow biome in the next Horizon. I was definitely one of the “winter haters” in FH4, but all I wanted is for it to become optional or not the entire map, but FH5 definitely shouldn’t have got rid of it like that.

I really miss ripping muscle cars around custom all snowy road routes in FH4. And the giant frozen lake! So many custom races made across that space!
Going one further, when the weather warms up and the snow on the mountain melts I was really hoping there would be meltwater rivers, temporary lakes and flooded roads nearby. Maybe some mudslides? Anything. Anything at all.
They could have done WAY more with the seasons in Mexico but it all feels so bland. I can never tell what season it is in FH5 when looking around at the world.

It should be an option to enable winter. When you enable it after you close Forza and open it will take to a winter server that only works during the winter season
I like snow in FH4 and i gotta admit this might be a tricky topic. A seprate winter expansion? I wouldn’t wanna see a re-done of Horizon 3’s blizzard mountain. Not because i didn’t like it but might as well try and do something new. + If we add the developpment time just so we can have another snowy map? Nah… If there is going to be snow , it might as well be part of the main land. Either a bigger biom area with more drivable roads or a proper winter season. But…
The problem with a full map winter season means it affects the racing/grip. Which i hate to say but i agree with these complaints coming from Horizon 4. Yet In FH3’s blizzard mountain the snow and the weather conditions were much harsher. Whereas in 4 the snow can sometimes feel , not like snow and it’s a much more lighter and more friendly enviroment. Probably to accomodate the racing. And that’s understandable since it’s an expansion and not on the main map.
But then in Horizon 5 the snow on the caldera mountain is even worse. Same goes with the hot wheels expansion. It’s too thin and fake and the enviroment again lacks harsher weather, which is honestly an issue with the whole map in freeroam.
So: If the next game implements snow, we need it to actually feel like snow + harsher weather to make it more immersive. And if the current seasons structure remains, assuming the snow biom will be larger and whenver winter is over, it’s should simply revert to a normal/no snow biom.

Adding to my weather comment to the topic environment there a guy mentioned more harsh weather including snow i totally agree adding to that this is the more physical gameplay reaction to the asphalt or road or even any pavement or road or off road Horizon side, adding to the new Motorsport’s too though the Road with harsh or light snow and cold tack can they be custom made to do a lot or not a lot of snow or ice or even a mix of both like custom create and including change all weather in time you want to have changed during race too???
