Mountains and snow DLC?

I’ve yet to hear anything about a second expansion pack for content and I was wondering what other people’s thoughts were. What would everyone like to see? I’m hoping for some snowy winding mountain roads like the alps or something to that degree.

Would be good but will have to wait and see.

Hi there.

Cheers

It would be good but they’ll have to put a whole new physics system for the surface, since it will react a lot different to the usual rain. We’ll just have to wait for an announcement.

It would seem like a natural counterpoint to Storm Island, but there’s no evidence that there will be a second, similarly-sized expansion pack like Storm Island.

We’d have to wait for Turn 10 to say something to know. Until then, it’s speculation and wishlisting.

There is this thread as far as any wishlists go.

If you’re here to have a discussion about what it would be like to drive in the snow and mountains, then I guess that’s different. As for whether or not it will happen, we will not know until Turn 10 announces somethings.

As for what it’s like to drive in the snow in the game, I would compare FH2 rain to rain in the real world and then do something similar for snow, but much much easier to drive on in the game. I’d imagine it like a more slick version of the wet roads. If it was more like real world, we’d see lots of cars stuck with useless, unskilled AI spinning their wheels, stuck in a ditch, or all wrecked into each other on the way out of Nice.

I drive for a living.

In a Subaru.

In Canada.

I need no “snowy road” DLC, I live it 5 days a week, 6 months a year.

How isnt this locked or moved yet…hmmm makes me wonder. I would love a snowy mountain expansion tho even if you arent actually driving on the snow. Kinda like the fm5 alps track where the roads are clear and traction is the same but the mountains and scenery are covered in snow. Maybe something like pikes peak in colorado with very steep roads and tight twisties (shouldve been in horizon1). When I drove this road last year it was near summer time and 70 degrees out but the higher up we went the cooler it got. When we finally reached the top it was 40 degrees cooler and there was snow all around but not on the road itself. It was the most amazing driving experience of my life.

Please use the pre-existing threads for making game wish requests. Thanks
