Thank you, my intention is to express my anxiety to an expansion of the horizon map 2. What if the Playground you do, I will not buy the Project Cars’ll be playing FZ H2 until the release of FZ M6.
Kudos for a genuinely positive post! And yes, watch the news. Car packs reliably drop on the first Tuesday of every month (except for when they don’t XD).

I wouldn’t mind an expansion but what would it add to the game. Just making the map bigger or adding cars doesn’t seem to add much to the game. An expansion should add something new to the game. I would call it an expansion if they added motorcycles to the game. I don’t see Turn 10 doing that, but you get the idea.
I have pretty sure , they are creating a Forza Horizon Rally expansion , something like that with real rally setup customization making a real rally car , would be awesome make a rally Ford focus RS 2009 , or a Mitsubishi Lancer EVO X

There is none. All is pure speculation, started by the original poster in this thread.
Until there is any OFFICIAL announcement from Turn 10/Playground Games, etc., it is simply a guess.
Friend, you played me wrong … I congratulate and I question the Ralph Futon, if an expansion will be released for this FAN-TAS-TIC Forza Horizon 2.
Yes I read an article to the same extent, can’t remember where but it did say something along the lines that any expansion would not be handled in the same manner as the Rally expansion for Horizon 1.
Without going wishlist-y, I feel it would be nice to have an expansion to the existing world that is not separated so far away that it feels like a separate section of the game. However if they were to simply expand the existing map, I can see how it could create issues with online (player A has expansion while player B does not) - a common issue for online games with expansions.
All Forza expansions so far (like 2? Porsche for FM4 and Rally for FH) have included cars so I’d expect any potential expansion for FH2 to include some cars. For an expansion to be purely cars and no other content, it would be something like the aforementioned Porsche pack to differentiate from the monthly DLC.
Also, gameplay updates like the 1000 club from FH1 don’t need to be released as an expansion and can be applied as an update to the game.
That’s not entirely true: FM4 Porsche DLC had new events and cheevos, not just cars.
Interesting thread, and its got me thinking(always dangerous) that the Alps would make a perfect expansion.
Fits the demographic and you could have Rally style off road with snow/ice and keep the main roads tarmac. Plus just think what they could do with the weather effects! Carries over the theme from FM5 with the Bernese Alps too.
Not sure if this is a wishlist or not but tough…
I could see this as an expansion. Adding snow and ice to the course would add something to the game. Adding snow, sleet and freezing rain to the weather would also be interesting. Could you imagine driving in heavy snow or white out conditions? Adding fog would also be interesting. Tires needed to drive in these conditions would have to be added to the available upgrades. If fog is added, fog lights would be another upgrade. I’m not sure any specific cars would need to be added because of these additions.
I also get a little dangerous when I start thinking.

I would forget the Rally Expansion idea, an expensive way to get 5 cars in FH1. Must expand the map somehow!

Why should any slight suggestion be immediately frowned upon for not being posted in the wish list?
Not having a go but it seems to happen a lot on all manner of threads. Do Turn 10 take much notice of the wish list I wonder.
T10 employees do every once in a while look at the wish list, but it’s mostly there to keep the forums clean. That’s its primary purpose.
