Does anyone like the snow biome?
I really like driving around the forest and dirt biomes. However I tend to always avoid driving around the snow biome. Not because it’s snow but because the design/layout doesn’t seem appealing. You can basically drive up a slope and then drive back down… Do you think they missed the boat with the snow biome?

Hmmmm… It’s definitely the one I’ve spent least time in. There does seem to be less in there though, I’ll have a better look around to see if I’ve missed anything.
I thought to myself that the ice, and snow looked realistic. But I don’t really drive around any of the biomes, I just race.

It has been historically and scientifically proven that people who have never seen snow in real life don’t know how to drive in snow or on ice.
I remember driving on a motorway in a white-out once. Frightening. Either not moving or tick-over speed. Could barely see the fog lights of the car in front at its worst. This is not usual in the UK, causes the entire country to grind to a halt, something that is amusing for Norwegians I believe.
Anyway, back to your point - that did not stop utter morons driving at far higher speed, even when the visibility was seriously reduced. I’m not an expert on tyres but do know a bit about physics and solid water. Stopping distance - the next thing in the way, basically, not at all convinced that any tyres would change that.
I like the rocky lava bits and wish there was more driving around in that part of the environment instead of it mainly serving as a backdrop to the snow.

I hate driving in snow in real life and hate it in the game, so no.
Hrmm I don’t really like anything in the Hot Wheels expansion at the end of the day. Even the best ideas fall flat when supported by shallow, uninteresting gameplay.
That’s how I feel about the snow biome. Great idea but…
One really good thing I can say about it is that the idea of ditching seasons in favour of biomes specifically crafted for conditions is one that I whole heartedly support, and the benefits are shown off in the environmental design (the only good thing about the expansion). I hope this means moving forward that seasons won’t be a thing anymore.

I think the forest blew a lot of us away. I would like to see something like that again, but on a larger scale with a big lean on exploration, but I enjoy the snow. Ice is a bit too easy to drive on with RWD and feels more like grit, but I’d rather have it than not.
People who haven’t seen snow in 6 months forget how to drive in it.
FIFY
To clarify my OP isn’t about whether it’s cool to drive on snow/ice. I’m a huge fan of snow/ice and seasons etc. It’s about the layout and design of the snow biome. To me it just doesn’t cut it.
