I have no doubts this has been discussed but I would like to know if we are getting a leaderboard or auction house? (I am aware of rivals)
I did the tuning garage thing in FM2 through FM4 and spent a ton of time tuning and hot lapping.
For me, not having this is an absolute game killer. I would spend HOURS testing and tuning to see if the car was going to be competitive enough to race, sell, hot lap etc.
I just cannot fathom a FM game without leaderboards or auction house.
tuning garage? i played fm2 alot and dont know where you talk about…
There were several “tuning garages” that posted custom tuned and painted cars on the FM2 forum.
This probably started around 2007 or so.
It made for a really busy economy on the auction house and a lot of competitive cars being put in capable hands.
oh on the forum… ive been only on the forum since fm3 and only to discuse problems with the game…
I’ll pass on the auction house, unless they fix the many bugs with that (incorrect calculations on time, more explicit bid amounts, a larger amount of cars to auction and win each day, nothing less than 50% of retail, especially after tuning)
I totally get it. Hopefully some updates come soon that address everything.
The Forza community has always been hard to please but it’s almost like they released
a demo and not a “full” game.

There are things that don’t need to be brought to this game. The auction house is one of them. I’d be okay with better leaderboards, I’d be dandy if they let us gift cars, but don’t bring back a mess like that. Credits are already a bit of a problem and that would compound it further
Let’s be real. Even if they added an auction house players would need to wait 15 minutes to search for a car. After which point the game crashes.
My xbox X was crashing most newer games. I couldn’t even get through the new Forza title menu without crashing. I had to send it back to microsoft last week. 
They’ve given zero (AFAIK) indications that there’s going to be an auction house, so I personally, don’t expect one.
