That statement, however, has given me the biggest laugh I have had all week…asking people not to do something in this day and age is just naivete at it’s finest, especially when it comes to gaming. Pointless having a rolling release to relieve server load if people can just do what they like and play it when they like…I don’t understand Xbox and Microsoft at all some times
Steam doesn’t have a rolling release but it is confirmed for early release
“Access for everyone begins at 12:01 AM with the US Eastern time zone. This is a global release pattern. US Eastern time zone is currently UTC-4 and will switch to UTC-5 on November 7th before Standard/Deluxe/Game Pass access on November 9th. Refer to a time zone converter to understand what this means for your local time. Time in New York, United States now - Time.is”
Like with any gigantic corporation, it’s often the case of left hand being unaware of the actions of right hand.
But now that we have a actual corporate statement on this issue I would like to ask @Hieronymus1967 if it’s okay to give instructions on how legitimate customers can access this game early in accordance to Xbox enforcement or is there a particular forum rule that forbids that?

Absolutely not.
I’ll actually be removing your comments from earlier that suggest it.
[Edit - Not only is discussing exploits on how to get the game early prohibited, it’s been causing crashes for players who have tried it. So don’t. - MM]
IVE ordered the premium edition of fh5 and still i can not play the early access on steam please inform me on how i can play early access on steam. IVE pre-downloaded it too
okay good cause i couldnt evenn see the premium pack avaiilable on the separate purchase on my series x. i had to go on the internet and buy it seperately off the microsoft store. and thenn couldnt find anything but then i was able to get it to show the bundle by going into my xbox settings and then billing settings viewing my recent order history and then i was abke to get to the page for it and download the 2 expansion pass placeholders but that was about it.,
i ended up seeing it as a separate listing in the xbox store. but that was after i had already gone in a full circle. for a while i thought something was messed up. when i was looking for it before i was only looking at the game pass menu, and looking at the game and addons it would only show the regular/premium/deluxe editions sold seperately but not the premium bundle.
was a bit confusing at first but i think i’ll be good to go now
I know that this launch time and enforcement action discussion has already ended but I just want to express my definitive disappointment on how these things are quite easy to happen and even easier to avoid. I mean, almost everyone in my region (Brazil) is already playing the game in the NZ time and it is actually quite absurd that this is even allowed. I know that banning accounts for doing such a thing would be a “heavy” punishment somehow, but I believe that these attitudes could influence others and disrespect everyone that is eager to play the game. I think that this shouldn’t even be allowed to happen, and even if you changed your location on the Xbox console, your account should be tied into the country you’ve been in for the last 24 or 48 hours. This could probably avoid such things.
I feel very, very sad when I see everyone bumping their time fuse and I do hope a soon and future action will be taken, therefore these players might experience some good punishment in case they do something similar in the future. I consider this to be almost as similar as cheating - even though you’re not ruining anyone’s experience directly, you’re spoiling them.
