what is the point of playing this game? in multiplayer i’m never gonna win a race so there’s no point in bothering with it, and the single player part with all the cars and tracks it still manages to be boring and pointless…like what am i suppose to do after i finish the career mode?
if there was co op racing and dirt racing the game would be a bit more interesting but as it is i can’t find much reasons to play this game… i think i’m gonna uninstall it and stick with horizon from now on
take away the co-op racing, dirt racing, the weekly new race events, the free roam, and what you got left is something that resembles motorsport 7… a dull boring game with nothing much to do.
To be very frank, it is a circuit-racing, so what can you expect - bumper cars or tag the leader? The circuit racing part it does really well and that’s what the core game represents. Is this your first FM game?
Also, I don’t think it’s fair to compare it to FH.
You do realise this is a track racing game right? You have:
Forzathon
Circuit Races
Multiclass Races
Rivals
Autocross
Multiplayer Hoppers
Leagues
Ghost Leagues
Drag Racing
Experimental Drag
Endurance Races
Timed Races
Rival Bounty Hunters (like the new Indycar one)
Tag Virus
Keep the it
Tonnes of Drift stuff
Private Multiplayer
Career
This isn’t including what you can do without racing & I probably missed some event stuff there. No offense but what did you expect when picking up a track racing game compared to Horizon? It’s just a bad comparison.
You don’t know what is a fun. Take your favorite car and do 100 laps race. If that’s not fun then nothing is Motorsport is for people who like cars and driving.
I’m not that good, won several league races. Can’t get better 8f you don’t work at, maybe remove some assists, get yourself out of your comfort zone. Try to improve.
If that doesn’t entice you, then a competitive racing game isn’t for you. There’s lots of snipers in fps multiplayer because they can’t manipulate the controller well enough to defeat anyone otherwise, while fun for awhile, gets old fast.
Doesn’t sound like Motorsport is your type of thing. I’m a huge car guy, for me driving is first and racing is close second. That’s what makes FM7 so much fun for me, being able to experience so many different cars.
If winning every single race is the only thing that lets you have fun then you just have to practice to get better, don’t sit there and say you can’t win so you won’t play. If you find circuit racing boring then this definitely isn’t your kind of game.
yeah this motorsport stuff is not for me…besides the fact that i find the game boring i’m not even good at it… u have to know how to take corners at a perfect angle with perfect speed and perfect control of the car and i’m not able to do any of these things , and this just takes the online part of the game out of the ecuation cause i’m not able to compete with other players… that means all i have left is the single player part which is not much… basically for me this game is not worth playing
Don’t let a lack of skill hold you back from playing. This can always be improved through practicing. There are a ton of helpful tips on the internet on how to get better. Here are a couple good ones from Raceboy77.
You can always watch replays from the top players on the leaderboards as well. If you still find it boring after getting better then yeah, maybe stick with the Horizon games.
For me, if I’m racing online, the goal is to not be last. With my old sore hands and slow reflexes competing against kids who grew up with a game controller in their crib is crazy. I only compete against myself. If I can do better than I did in a previous race, that’s a victory.
Also, with both games, 75% of the fun of the game lies in the car building, painting, and collecting.
Money, Cars, Driver Gears…
Everything comes too easy in FM7
Even if I raced like garbage I’d still get plenty of CRs and cars
A more challenging and goal-oriented Career Mode is a must, IMHO
And…mayby we really don’t need so many cars…
