Good old forza as if the constant bad lobbies and disconnections wasn’t enough what to turn 10 come up with oh yea a gift and bloody transit van omg it’s bad enough that they won’t ghost lapped cars and it crashed ones now they give a free gift to encourage more trolls will they ever listen to the tidy racers probably not ! Look don’t get me wrong no ones perfect but aired if the ghosted cars that are crashed and lapped or come in to corners way to hot we would have way better lobbies I e now trolls maybe introducing a license system would help also feel free to comment surely we are not alone in this thought
Additionally, we’d see contest-winning liveries featured on Facebook and Forza Hub, but right now that’s limited to photos.
The Storefront is the one thing I truly miss from Forza Motorsport 4. I’m still painting and tuning cars at the moment but I’m starting to question the point of it all when less people can see/find what I’ve created compared to before.
Back on topic however some of the driving in Hoppers has been horrendous recently. I am well aware that as an “all ages” game there will be a large number of people who don’t have the skill or experience to race cleanly, but besides that I’ve seen more deliberate crashers recently than I’ve experienced in previous months. There was one driver yesterday who literally turned around on the start-line and drove head-on into the pack of cars leaving the grid. I Report and Vote to Kick every single one of these deliberate crashers but having to do that at least once after every race is becoming a chore and I’m not seeing any results.
Leagues are fun because I’m in a high Division with some people that “know how to race” but less than 1% of players bother with League Mode and the lobbies can be dead sometimes. Club Racing can be fun but after doing that for 5 years I’d rather have a good pick-up-and-play experience these days.
Forza Motorsport 6 as a game is fine for the most part and great in places, but the sheer number of disruptive players in Multiplayer are making me question why I bought the game in the first place.
They wanted people to use this website for their storefront. The only interaction they have made with the community has had to do with the “guess the dlc game” they play every month and some kind of photo/paint contest. Where are the new rival events, where are the races where you beat so and so’s time from turn 10 or some kind of special multiplayer hopper like they started to do in forza 5 but then stopped. Racing is not their focus anymore, the pretty cars are. I’m not against painting, i think what these guys do is awesome but a lot of the best painters left after forza 4. So basically the painters left because of the lack of a storefront, and all the racer’s are leaving because of issues like the one the OP has.
Turn10 you really are trying your best to shoot yourselves in the foot. Great game ,love it to bits. But how about leaving the wild and wacky cars to have fun with on horizon and stick to performance type cars for Motorsport. Getting immersed in the gameplay is easy with accurate physics and dynamics but dissipates quickly when a transit van, jeep willly stretch limo etc shares the race track with you.
Even when racers use these cars to race rather than troll it IMO takes a great game down a peg.
As much as I would hope youre right, sadly if history repeats itself turn ten will not listen. They have yet to really listen with the main issues of forza 6… Servers have been messed up for almost two months now… No fix… They know exactly when it happened,it was there own nov update that did it… Its too bad…
I don’t think that the problem here is the diversity of vehicles. Let’s be fair, not many games have ever given you the opportunity to drive such an eclectic range of vehicles around well known race tracks. If there is a problem (bad players aside and regardless of the Transit they’ll find something to drive to wreck a race) it’s the hoppers being based purely on PI. I know it’s limited by server capacity and player numbers but if the hoppers were increased in numbers and broken down into one or two divisions as well as an “all in” then at least you’d have a chance at finding a race made up similar vehicles if that’s what you want.
The Transit is only, what, 20-40k to buy? We get weekly rewards that buy that easily, so being given one is absolutely no excuse.
Being given a free gift should be a nice thing, but no, people complain, and then complain when we aren’t given anything. I mean, what exactly do you want T10 to do?
I dont think you realise how stupid of an answer that actually is …saying that is practically sayimg take the transit and other vans out the game because a minority of idiots use it to ram …so do we delete limos for being road blocks too and do we delete 4x4s and pickups for being big heavy raming cars too and do we delete any super fast straight line monsters like the 1one as ther will just ram you at turn one or the mini for the same reason in lower classes on every game there is a small minority of small minded idiots but in forza they are more noticable as its racing and all they do is one crash and it wrecks your race …i know the lad said before he runs with top 40 drivers etc and fair play if he can keep up but groups like www.gamerzleaguecentral.com and many others have platforms for all skills and paces but clean and fun too there are so many drivers that i have been their for a few months now and still dont know everyone on their lol
My answer is stupid and yet you fail to realize the flaw in your answer. Your saying the only way to enjoy the massive multiplayer experience is to only play with a small fraction? Does that not sound stupid to you? Does it not sound stupid that you have to play with only a few to enjoy the product? Does it not sound stupid to have to go outside the means given by the developer to enjoy the product? Sounds stupid to me. What’s the point of having quick play hoppers if you can’t enjoy the aspect of just jumping in and racing? I have no interest in joining a league. I want to load up on the grid and not have to worry about the Transit Van and Grand Cherokee behind me or the Vandura or limo in front of me. You can’t forget the the Country Squire 4 rows back either.
Do you not see the irony in that YOU the customer had to go find a group of like minded individuals outside the community instead of the developer you PAID creating that atmosphere and maintaining it within the product you purchased?
To answer your first question, yes. Listen to yourself. A limo in a racing game. A LIMO IN A RACING GAME. There is no place in a racing game for a limo. There is no place for heavy 4x4 trucks that can’t turn unless your under 30mph. The 1:One has set multiple performance and track records so uh, yeah it belongs. The original mini is a accomplished racecar so um, yeah it belongs.
lol… the people who drive it for the intention of wrecking is the problem. they can use a Honda s2000 for wrecking ore a transit… either way wreckers wreck with what they got.
This is true, wreckers will wreck. But why not give a car that is more focused on actual racing like a race car and tie it into some kind of holiday racing event, and if you win that event you win some other kind of car. It would’ve promoted racing, and actually trying to get first place, not hanging around the back crashing people but no, we get a “create a paint” contest. And I’m sorry getting a free van with some holiday paint on it is not really a gift, bring back unicorn cars and a chance to get them, that in itself would promote any kind of contest they could think of.
