you mean today? the showcase is today…granted tomorrow is Forza monthy, but i believe the main information will be given today (date, gameplay, carrer info, multi info)
We’ll see how this goes. I do agree we might see something new. Maybe some new gameplay demos, and maybe we’ll see the return of the Forza Garage.
One thing’s for certain: We will probably see a smaller car list. A thousand cars is not exactly realistic. But please don’t repeat what FM5 did years ago.
Regarding tracks, we haven’t seen any new ones apart from the one in Japan and Kyalami. Maybe they’ll show more tracks down the line but we know some of them will be cut (looking at you, TG Test Track).
EDIT: Seems like the cuts were true. Fortunately they aren’t too harsh but man, approx. 500 cars? 20 tracks? Not looking too good on content.
I’m excited for the showcase today, especially for FM being primarily a racing game fan. I’m also interested in Redfall, since I still play FPS on occasion, and am always open to what Arkane has been up to.
The whole “reboot” aspect for FM has me intrigued.
Like others, I don’t know exactly what that means, but I’m hoping it means getting back to the heyday of FM… That being pre-FM 5 days e.g. FM3, FM4, etc.
These games had a sophisticated, but still fun atmosphere that rivaled GT, better AI and a better driving model even if they are technologically inferior to FM7. For example, if you play the Race '07, Toca Race Driver games on modern hardware, the cars feel more planted, IMO, because they have less info. being reported, ironically. More isn’t always better. It’s how devs use what they’ve got to full effect that matters.
On Twitch schedule it is booked 2 hours, if that means anything.
If they reboot FM1, I hope they reboot the pre-tuned cars too! I want my Veilside Fortune and Abflug S900 Supra’s back!
So, they’ve opened this thing up with Minecraft. But you know what I’m noticing? They’re talking about gameplay…
And now you’re up, and YOU’RE NOT.
OH MY GOD. Please stop talking about the graphics. Please.
Live now!
really??? no release date?
…but it sure wasn’t that.
I don’t think you guys are serious about this in the slightest.
500 cars incl 100 new to FM
5 new tracks.
The sounds are sweet. Tbf, that was never an issue with FM.
New MP game mode.
Dunno if much of the reveal was gameplay or replay, some shots looked flat imo.
No release date. Shame. Expect delay…
Ouch. 500 cars. 20 tracks. No release date looming. What’s the deal?
Fall is around the corner…
COMING 2023 - so not quite on schedule it seems, not good news.
But some nice info on 500 cars and 20 locations, but probably more tracks.

So a lot of cars are getting cut, a good chunk of tracks are being cut, there’s still no 900 degree steering, and there’s still no release date.
Same old Forza aero…But I did see the McLaren M8C next to the Lola, and the Porsche Mission R…
I saw the 2019 Porsche 935 as well.
Oh well.
Sounds like October.
Right around the FM7 anniversary.
Bummer.
Let’s see what tomorrow brings.
All I’ll say is that it looks pretty.
That’s pretty much it so far.
500 total cars at launch, with 100 new cars to the series…
That tells me street cars are out the door, and the incoming are track specials, which I don’t mind. Hopefully (since I didn’t see any in the video) all the SUV’s and trucks are out.
