OK, now I’m starting to be really angry…About 2 weeks ago my fiance lost all save data on Forza Horizon 3, without any reason. I send PM to Nitro and still waiting for any information about this problem. But today, 15 minutes ago, I started FM7 on Xbox on my account and…lost all data, game is starting from scratch! Are we playing this games only to lose time and then start everything again??? I want my money back becouse this is just a waste of time 
Fortunately I was playing FM7 on my PC last weekend. I know that save data is written on PC hard drive so I cut internet connection and load FM7 on PC. Data from last weekend on my PC was loaded so I was thinking that I lost only 3 days of playing. So I go online, done one race on rivals to overwrite data on cloud and after that I closed game on PC. Than I turned on my Xbox, start FM7 again and…nothing, game still is starting from scratch on Xbox. Now I don’t know what to do. I am afraid to start FM7 on PC with internet connection becouse maybe this will wipe data from my PC, last proof of my time spent for that game.
I didn’t do anything. I was playing earlier today FM7 on Xbox, online racing only and everything was fine. Now I started game again, no error message, game is loaded from zero.
OK, so little update of my save data status. I usually play on xbox, becouse my PC is very weak but last weekend I was playing FM7 on PC, as I was saying before. So I took a chance and started FM7 on my PC and with internet connection. I saw window with info, data save on local drive is older then on cloud (on cloud there was nothing/wipe) so I forced to use local save data. Fortunately it works! I have restored data on cloud using local save from PC. I have closed the game on PC and started it on Xbox, there was sync message and finally I was able to play normally, loosing only couple of driver lvl’s and a little of credits.
Seems that if someone can play FM7 on Xbox and PC it is good to start the game from time to time on PC. There will be always backup of data. I think I will do this backup on FH3 too and on my fiance account if she get staff back, becouse she lost save data 2 weeks ago…
But there is one problem. Data on PC was from weekend but after last weekend I’ve done both forzathons and Turn10 send to me 3 cars from November Bounty Hunter (I’ve beat Nebuchadnezzar). So I lost 5 rewarded cars:
- 2010 Audi TT RS Coupe
- 2004 Ferrari Scaglietti
- 2016 W Motors Lykan HyperSport
- 2016 Mercedes-AMG C 63 S Coupe FE
- 1957 Porsche 356A
Nitro, can you send me this cars back?
