I had to delete my local saved games 2 times in 2 days.
Anyone else have this problem? I’m playing on Xbox One X (Scorpio Edition).
In the past I’ve already lost one savegame from Horizon 2 because it wasn’t able to sync properly.
Had to start from scratch, but swore it was the last time I did something like that again.
I have never bothered to complain in the past (much) but Forza 7 is a right old mess.
Managed to solve? I’m having the same problem, I sent the email with the data and still nothing.

Same happend to me yesterday
I also have about 10% of my games end up with “invalid data”. I’m running on an original Xbox One and an external drive. I have not had save issues with other games.
Send a mail to Turn 10, but hasn’t been answered yet.
At one point I couldn’t even access the storage in settings, so I couldn’t delete any saved game.
I went offline in the network settings en hard reset the console.
After it console booted up again, I went back online and it started syncing.
I was able to race a couple of races, tried the Forzathon, but saw no progression (typical).
Then I just shut it off, because I’m just sick and tired of this ballshot.
It’s like you have to do a whole ritual before this game even works.
What next in the troubleshooting? Try to sacrifice a goat so your save game can sync properly?
At least with DriveClub you saw progression. They worked hard to get all the kinks out of the game and in the end it was a massive improvement
over the launch.
With this, after 2 months, all they could fix was a money glitch, but not much else.
Anyone using pirated copies by any chance?

I watched a YT video yesterday about how developers punished pirates of their games, deleting their game saves rang a bell. Funny how so many posts about game save losses in the last few days when there wasn’t an update!
Really? I am on the Xbox X^^ and have all my games F5 and 6, FH 2 and 3 all Ultimate Editions from Xbox store, only F7 ultimate is from Amazon.
Bought the Ultimate Edition on the Microsoft Store, so no.
in the same vein as there were a ton of “my game crashed and I got 999,999,999 credits and now I’m banned” posts at once not so long ago?
I think that was when people were deliberately crashing their game as per a YT video showing them how to do it to max out their credits. No-one has heard from them again!
T10 are catching up with the cheats, liars and hackers. All is good

Got a reply from Turn10 on the mail I send them regarding my game save problem.
They only confirmed what was wrong, but no solution yet.
I had to delete my local save game twice in 10 minutes today.
The biggest problem is that things don’t get fixed. Two months after release and it’s still a mess.
As it is now, I have a 500 dollar paperweight that annoys the hell out of me.
Or maybe I just bought the Crapio Edition? I don’t know…

Just happened to me too. What I can say is that I synced my saved games previous data, paint jobs/designs etc. Now I have 4 or 5 saved game data files all called my profile in there. Has anyone else downloaded previous Forza saved data first or are you getting the message fresh?
