Can we make Safety and Skill ratings harder to get or maintain bc these are my stats and i honestly don’t think im that good
I get people in my lobbies that are well below my skill level but bc they win 2 intro races they get put in S safety and 4000+
it’s should be more progressive than 1 or 2 races to get you to top tier and it would definitely help filter people who definitely don’t have what it takes to be in this skill bracket
i believe im around 3500-4000 and maybe S or A safety i rarely wreck or cause collisions but it seems i get the blunt end of the stick bc the game has no sense of how to rate players
Maybe add a ranked mode with a better skill based matchmaking system or make the penalty system more accurate and harsher for taking insane lines cutting ppl off and hoping back onto the track at 20mph like IRL it shouldn’t be this easy to be this high of a rank
The biggest problem in this game is the lack of driver awareness and knowledge. The matchmaking doesn’t help at all (i know the player count is low) with placing lower skill players in the lobbies with better racers.
I’m a 4950 and S safety and my lobbies tend to have 3-4 people my skill and the rest are fill ins. The rating system needs a huge rework bc i don’t think i’m deserving of a 4950 tbh but at the same time we need to place bad racers with bad racers and good racers with good racers.
In ACC there is a interesting player rating system that breaks down everything about the driver. (racecraft, safety, consistency, pace, and car control) they all come together to give an overall rating and that is something forza is lacking. I get that this is more of an arcade relax type of game but if you expect us to kinda take it seriously and continue to play your game maybe add something more interesting to the over driver rating
I would like to see a ranked mode or and overall Cup style race where you grind to get your rating higher and the lower skill drivers won’t be there to ruin your race
Fully agreed, for now there is no solo nor multi and it ends up with a dead game.
I also remember first day playing, thinking that the ACC system would be better also.
Since months they should have just locked the matching system, filling lobbies with just people at approximately the same safety rating AT LEAST. I would rather play with only 4 dudes than with a load of ramers.
It wouldn’t be as much enjoyable as a good race in ACC for example, but then again AT LEAST it would have kept me playing this game a bit more than just giving up on it because of the multi toxic lobbies.
Anyway all I’ve seen from our remarks and complaints is nothing other than a modo passing by and sorting it in a big topic so it can be buried.
For those who will say that there is private league, well first many of them withdrew from forza
and I don t want to play through a league, if I m taking racing this seriously I’ll go on LFM to play ACC with real accountability and racing behavior. The real deal sort of …
Same. My skill rating is around 4700 with S safety rating yet I race with so many dirty drivers.
The issue is how easy it is to obtain high skill & safety rating.
Take me, I strive for clean racing every race, but there is no way I’m a 4700 out of 5000 skill level. I’m better than average which should be 2500 and I would be like between 3000 to 3500.
I drive in bonnet view and while I do make every effort to be clean in traffic, sometimes it’s really hard to judge where somebody is when they’re alongside me.
It would be fascinating to see a spread of ratings. My suspicion is that it would be very top heavy with a significant proportion of the playing population above 4950.
I can finish a race with zero contact and gain a few positions and I’ll lose 20 points from the skill rating.
Another race finished with 3.5 second of penalities and a ton of contact? Gain 25 skill rating and bump up my safety rating.
Sitting between 4500 and 4850 skill rating depending on if I’m building a car from level 1 in multiplayer lobbies or not. It’s a horribly broken rating system that takes infinite patience to increase the rating and the butterfly effect to decrease it.
What mechanisms are at play to cause these points swings that occur seemingly at random?
