Its great to drive, easy for all to drive. I have driven in other racinggames/simulators and have wanting the car in forza a long time.
I would love to have the little bit faster GT5 version too.
Quite boring. The car is glueded to the track and lack any kind of personality. Engine sound is very low as well. I’ve try the Ginetta event in pvp and I’m still wondering how in hell people can divebomb, and miss breaking zone with that car.
This has nothing to with this car . However i want to know why i am always in 9th to 12th no matter what car, what setup i use, or what track i am running. Ive been playingfor almost a year and stiil the same. This game is total crap in my opinion. Sure aint a REAL racing sim
It’s a sim arcade and not a total simulator like ACC, iRacing or Automobilista 2. You can be very competitive with a joypad as well as wheel setup (a lot of people say that joypad is better competitve wise). Turn off your stability control, lower your traction control to sport for very fast car (R, P and X) and use manual shift: that’s a good starting point to score better time.
For an E Class it’s not to shabby, really need seat positioning added to the game so we can move back abit on the interior no wheel view.
Was in a car the other day, can’t remember what it was but the seating position was so far forward you could only see an inch of the dash, felt more like bonnet view
First impressions can sometimes lie. But I posted this elsewhere on the forum.
I did the first race of the Ginetta track toys round. And I have to give credit where it’s due. I don’t know if it’s because of the update or just a fluke but this was one of the best races I’ve had since this game rolled out. AI played a clean race. There was a few bumps with a couple of warnings and several more (minor) collisions with no penalties. No AI ramming, No AI corner cutting. The next few races will tell a tail. And then the next series will show if it was a fix from the update or just the Ginetta. But if this first race is a taste of the updated AI and FRR then things are looking up.
I did not say that this is a simulator, more of
a semi-realistic/Sim-cade racing game.
It always been this way with the forza games, made for use with controller.
Wheel support is just a second thought in every game from Turn10 and Playground games.
I go to my PC when i want a real RacingSim like Assetto Corsa or other sims.
I wish forza was made for wheels first and not controllers.
In that way GT7 is far more better than Forza Motorsport.
But on that note: i agree in with most of you here.
But If you think its too grippy, its not IRL. Its a low powered, low weight, small racing car that its the first step for young racers into the faster cars in their racrdriver careers.
As far as I know there is no game who don’t need quite a bit of tweak to get a Fanatec or Moza setup working well. I needed to tweak my fanatec DD pro with both ACC and Automobilista 2. I don’t remember any game having good setup out of the box.
This Ginetta G40 Jr. feels very understeery to me, and I’ve had a difficult time so far trying to tune that out without making it too slidey for my liking.
I’ve seen lots of other drivers in the G40’s spotlight lobbies going wide in their turns too, so it looks like lots of players are understeering in it.
Agreed but found a way to get rid of it, upgrade it to A Class with the second rotatory engine and supercharge it with ballast on race tyres, it’s a weapon then!
While i do think this game has much better ffb than the past, theres a lot more tweaks required than other games. Theres also too many sliders, turn 10 should have done a better job creating a base setup for various wheels, like all the other games do. Then let people tweak a few things like all the other games do.
