The game is junk status and with no word from T-10 on when there will be a fix, this is a total waste of time. The latest being 2 hours for nothing but that can be multiplied many times over.

I am trying so hard to enjoy this game and not even fussy about 3/4 of what others are complaining about. I am not asking for a refund I just want it to last long enough to finish a long race. It says I have driven 72 hours but that would only be the ones that made it through as I have been flogging the guts out of this game day and night since the day after early release and getting nowhere. Locking my thread is not going to change anything.

pretty crazy that people are showing up to the forums just to announce how they are moving on from the series, I think it speaks volumes of the dissatisfaction the fanbase feels as a whole.

Yes,I think its good though, so that T10 really see whats happening. I just hope they help the community before they lose to many. Another hope is that T10 will fix the game, and the others will return to enjoy it. People need to speak up, I would just wait atleast a month before i leave altogether. Im in it for the long haul myself, I payed to much money for it.

Definitely. It’s easy to say some version of “don’t let the door hit you on the way out!” but this should be a cause of concern for Turn 10. People that love their games are leaving it.
Example: I have friends on Xbox who have bought every iteration of this game, and have loved it all of these years, and would be considered absolute loyalists to this series… And because I always played sims on the PC as well, they’ve been asking me about what different sims provide, how much they might need to spend to put together a computer, etc. They’re not yelling and screaming mouth breathing entitled children petulantly wanting what they want. They feel that the game has taken a direction which doesn’t include them, and they just plain old feel disappointed with this release. They want to love this game and they want to keep loving this series. They are the middle point between the screaming fools and the weaponized fanboys who seek the approval of the developers and moderators.
Turn 10 would ignore situations like this at their peril.

Every new game there are people like this. There was with FM5, FM6, and now this game. Heck I know lots of people left once the first Horizon game came out. It is nothing new. As old people leave, new people will start playing.

You know it’s bad when you have to Accidentally rediscover a Horizon game (Horizon 2) just to smile again after all the negative comments lol.
I’ve come to the conclusion that I won’t be able to test/drive/compete in stock cars on FM7. Turn 10 totally douched how I play the game, so guess I’ll have to wait till FM8. Hell the way it’s looking I’ll never be able to play the way I want again. I was just hoping they would build on the solid foundation that is FM6, but I guess you need to fix what isn’t broken.
Don’t get me wrong the driving/car feel in FM7 is top notch and would have been awesome for testing, but unfortunately T10 removed the features I need. Hopefully it’s fixed by the time FM8 comes around.
Until then I may just have to repurchase FH2, (played the fast and furious thing) I forgot how amazing this game was. Sense of speed and the roads are incredible.

I can only speak for myself I have done it in the hope they will respond (Saftey in numbers as they say) Maybe the issue is not a quick fix but come out and say it so we know. 16’000CR for 3 hours work make this untenable unless I can do a deal where they do away with my payouts and give 10’000CR each time I find myself looking at the desktop I am not going to make any ground. Right now I would settle for that. I already purchased Project Cars 2 and Dirt 4 out of anger but if I didn’t like the Forza concept and previous titles I wouldn’t bother being here.

I get more than that in a standard race, do you have the drivatars at the minimal level or something
Aren’t they saying it is crashing so much that they only get a pay out for a small portion of their time.

I only have an average PC at best and have absolutely no issues since release
And on xbone only 2 closes to home screen as well
Mine is lower mid-range I guess, and I seem to have less issues than people posting with i7’s, 1080ti’s etc. I’m playing all maxed settings at 3840x2160, 100% resolution scale, and getting a rock solid 60fps on track (msi afterburner). I do get CTD occasionally, but only once or twice has it ever happened in a race, it’s mainly in menus and online lobbies. I don’t seem to get anywhere near as much texture disappearing as I used to before the last patch and nvidia driver either.

This would be the correct answer. 13 laps of a 14 lap run on Nuri BMW FE loaded with mods run usually highly skilled with only ABS and SBL payout = Zero, 9 laps of the second try. 8 laps of Watkins in Focus FE no mods the same settings could see the finish line. You have to finish a race to get paid out. It stopped paying anything on the difficulty level for a good 18 races yesterday and many times would crash at the position tally board. I can do lots of little sprints ie 3-4 laps and get away with it but the loading times kill ya.

It’s really on a different level this time. Across all the fora that discuss the FM series.
I’ve enjoyed all the FM iterations from FM1 up. This time round I was excited to be at the stage where I could finally justify dumping the money on the full ultimate version. I missed the launches of the FM5 & 6 titles as I didn’t have an Xb1. I was so stoked to be in the midst of the launch of this title.
What a glitchy, unfinished let down. We are basically the beta testers for the One X version. We have been taken for the ride. I’ve lost all interest in playing 7 and am back racing R Class on FM6.

I really don’t understand how people think that the XboneX version is any different to what we have now. It’s the SAME GAME with a few graphical assets added in a download.
Quite where graphical assets are in the 30GB extra I couldn’t tell you. I’m on PC and some of the assets are quite frankly horrible. Car models, especially LOD, is/are poor, and the trees… :o
