I just followed the #25 on the full circuit up with a #23 ranking on Yas Marina Alt. Just getting one was frustrating me to no end, and now I get two in one night

I know I’m supposed to be shutting up, but I have to throw out a HUGE thank you to “oo 3X oo” as it was his tune that got me where I wanted to be. I was only #69 on that leaderboard with my own tune. His Mini flat out rocks…
Actually, its 9 lol. Had to take part. The penalties are annoying on this track. I’m scared to drive it too hard sometimes because I just want a freaking clean lap. lol.
No, its 8 again. I saw that you got to #6 and that really irked me Had to run it again and improved slightly and moved back up to 18 again. I’ll pass you next week sometime
I’m confused (not really, I actually have a good idea as to who/what is behind it) as to why this thread was moved… Now it will just die like every time a mod moves a thread… I see these types of threads in the discussion forum all the time too, whatever.
Good luck. I ran 3 2:33.0xx laps and settled with a lap 6 tenths off. Lol. Frustration was my downfall.
Dude, I am sharing your frustration so much its ridiculous. I have been running Yas all day. I have run laps in the 2:33’s about 20 rimes now only to have them dirtied by something really stupid. I finally gave up and ran a very cautious lap of 2:34.7 clean and got to #13 on the leaderboard with it. I had your time beat once with a time of 2:33.4 only to have lost it on turn 18 for a reason that I still can’t understand at all. I truly hate the dirty lap indicator on that track…
I’m on the first page of a leaderboard and I’m very happy about it. Yet, I’m also annoyed because I would have been at #6 if the one lap didn’t go dirty on me. At least I now know that I am capable of running a top 10 time, just have to find a way to execute it.
I know what you ran. My last lap of the night was running against your ghost. I stayed right with you for a good bit of the lap. I made a few mistakes along the way that caused to me end up at #18 or I would have been higher. I know there is plenty of time left in that car for that track. You’re just better at the game than I am, so I may never actually get to the same ranking as you. Its certainly possible with the car though. I wasn’t kidding when I said I’m focused on top 10 with that car on that track though. I know where my mistakes are, just need to figure out how to correct them and I’ll be well over a second faster. I don’t think I’m really going to pass you next week, but give me another couple of months and I just might. I am still learning afterall…

@ lou congrats on the #25 spot!! was there when you posted about your top 50 lol, keep it up and while you are doing that you must now figure out how to not only get faster , you must now figure out how in the world the guys ahead of you did it
Driving the tune I am now, I can sort of see how a lot of them did it. I can tell that there is a lot left in the car, but I don’t have the skill/technique yet to bring it out. The one that really stumps me is ONR Chronic. That dude can’t be human, he’s just insanely fast…
I want to give this mini a shot now. I finally started hot lapping some C class cars and it seems like me and swerve are always close to eachother with our rival times. Hope that stays true and i can get another top 10!
If you like fwd you will be up there in the hunt for top 10s. Takes a bit to relearn how to drive when you drop from C to the mini though as I noticed last night.
I’ll have to look for you in C class though. I’ve just started rerunning a few tracks here and there in that class.
