I am done with this unplayable "thing"- PGG/MS should be sued!

The team of complete idiots around the biggest idiot Mike Brown have actually managed to make the game even worse and partly even unplayable with the December update.

I have the same problems here in Austria on the Series X. Crashes when leaving the festival, crashes after tuning/livery editor, controller no longer has a connection to the game and miserably long loading times after racing events.

For me the “fun” (or should i call it one month of pure frustration) is over!! The only thing I still emo for FH5, PGG, Mike Brown and Microsoft is pure hate. This idiots are wasting my lifetime. That is crime in my eyes!! Releasing such a broken and not even half-finished product is fraud. I will try to get my money back and also sell my Series X I bought just for this game.

Never before have I been so deceived and fooled by a gamestudio. Actually we should sue PGG and MS in a class action lawsuit!

lol, dont you follow any of their social media? Just calm down, they know about the issues, they are hard at work, so be patient, stop crying and stop asking for an attention…

Yeah, how’s FH4 looking these days? Do you really think they will fix anything just because they promise it on Twitter?
They promised to fix FH4 on Twitter, how’s that working out?
Any of you cheer leading shills wanna answer that one?
I didn’t pay for FH5 because I heard all these same promises in FH4.

It’s so “unplayable” that I spent several hours playing it today/yesterday. I had to restart it a few times when it hung on saving, but that’s just a minor annoyance. Certainly not cause for a frothing rage.

No one should need to be restarting a game a few times just to play it, you might be okay with that also, however yes the op has went a bit over the top but they have paid for the game and everyone is different.

i myself dont have a lot if time to play so when i do get a chance i want to actually enjoy it not worry if its going to crash or fail at any minute.

people are allowed to get frustrated.

Well, Ti… As getting ctd while loading this… game… on PC, after the dec update, I can confirm it’s unplayable under PC… By luck, I’ve also an Xbox where it’s playable but terribely slow.

Why do people always have the need to announce their departure.

To evolve the game.

I think it’s very hard to build so many versions for different platforms. They should abandon PC.

Troll or not, I actually agree with Turtle for once. I feel like PG and Turn 10 have just stretched themselves too thin trying to tackle both Xbox and PC markets.

That argument doesn’t hold much truth. Both, this and previous generation, consoles are running Windows 10 based operating system.

Quote from wikipedia: "Though initial iterations of the software for the original Xbox and Xbox 360 were based on heavily modified versions of Windows, the newer consoles feature operating systems that are highly compatible with Microsoft’s desktop operating systems, allowing for shared applications and ease-of-development between personal computers and the Xbox line. "

The issue isn’t different platforms. It’s the overall questionable trend (from the end user’s perspective) in gaming industry that produces so many half-baked and broken products (often mixed with predatory microtransaction practices).

It’s the base Xbox which is holding the game back, not PC. Producing games for console and PC is something competent developers have been doing for 20 years. Perhaps that’s the problem here. It can’t be money because they are backed by one of the richest companies the world has ever seen.

It’s overly complex. If somebody has problem with it he should show me other studio with similar projects. PG and T10 do great job but the bug can happen. It’s not good but if they fix, it’s all good. Only small kids without any complex job can have problem with it, I guess.

cough But your game is bug-free so bugs don’t happen

Wow that’s a bit over the top, it’s just a game and only been out a month. Give them a chance to fix the thing. I think the game has suffered from the most recent update but they are aware of it and trying to find solutions. It’s an absolutely amazing game that has a live cycle of maybe 3-4 Years. So the first month hasn’t gone as planned they’ll get it right soon. My only issue is that they should reduce the total required to complete Series 1 because of the current bugs.

Yes something is wrong, but it’s been 1 month. They will get it right. No point in comparing to FH4 unless you are comparing it to the very first month of FH4. Even then it’s not the same thing because FH4 was released for Xbox One only, FH5 is released for 2 different console generations, cloud and PC simultaneously, and all have to work together. I’m not defending them here but give them a chance, the first update didn’t promise to fix all the issues it was to fix some issues and it did fix some issues. Unfortunately it also broke other things. If they hadn’t released any update and tested it properly people would complain they are being too slow. It’ll take time but they will fix it.

FH5 is no more of a mess than FH4 was at launch.

Did 4 lock out your controller exiting a house?

No, and it didn’t go in to an infinite save loop when changing cars, changing paint or changing tunings. It did not lock my controller when I ended a race either. I have also seen more crashes/auto reboots in this game already than I saw in Horizon 4 the entire time I played it.

Horizon 4 did have issues at launch, but for me, playing on a console, it had none of the instability I am now seeing with Horizon 5 on an XBox Series X.

You know, I am not upset at all when a dash board or some other detail of a car is not 100% accurate. I also know that from time to time, there will be a mistake in the description of a weekly event. These are not the details that have me frustrated. I just want to be able to play the game without the fear of losing progress, and without having to implement my own work arounds (using a mouse on a console inorder to select an opponent near me in Rivals, for example). I shouldn’t have to be restarting the game as often as I have had to since Dec 3 (the big fix day)
