after 2+ years of progress my game is done. i launched the game today on pc and i couldn’t get past the load screen. so i deleted and reinstalled the xbox app and gaming services along with reseting the game in settings and now my profile has been restarted at the beginning of the game. all my credits and cars that i have collected over the years are GONE. i even tested it on my xbox and i have the same problem there. this has driven me to the point of just unistalling this trash on both my pc and xbox. i am absolutely done with this steaming pile.

I think you can create a ticket and request support to give you all your cars and credits back if you’ve lost them through a corrupt game save/sync. They wont be painted/tuned though I think.

I feel for you but you probably jumped the gun a bit by resetting the game. This as you’ve found out resets the game back to the start as newbie.

i can’t contact support as everytime i try i get stuck in the endless loop of “create ticket/sign in/create ticket/sign in”. i’m screwed. i already uninstalled the game on my pc. if i’m not playing it anymore there’s no reason for it to take up valuable ssd space that can be used for other things. i do still have it installed on my xbox, but as i lost 2 and a half years of progress i doubt i’ll ever play it again there.
Sorry to hear about this experience. Can’t imagine how angry I’d be.

Had that same exprience, tho after that i bought the game from steam and havent gotten any problems. Even with different computers or after resetting my pc. Maybe someday you can enjoy the game again.
Hey there! I have had this exact same issue. Now, you haven’t lost your save data if you have access to one thing. When booting up fh5, if you can choose to sync from a file from Xbox cloud. Then you’re good to go. You should know as it should be 150mb+ for the amount of stuff you’ve done.
I experienced the same issue, redownloaded the game. Anything, I’ve done it. But when syncing up your old data if you do get the option. If you don’t get the option, restart your computer and boot up fh5. You should receive the option.
Once clicking on sync from your cloud save. It should start syncing. Now please note: the progress bar does not work. So you’ll be stuck on 0% for pretty much the entire time. But, eventually you will be fully synced. Here is the problem. I have a good internet connection and the download is painfully slow. So wait around 10 minutes.
About the fake menu loading screen. Which btw it is. That is broken. But you can still get in. All you have to do is wait a few minutes and it hopefully should allow you to actually load the game.
But also, the game is incredibly broken. I can’t connect to forza life. If you manage to. The auction house takes a billion years. So all in all. Currently I wouldn’t recommend playing fh5 on pc. But I do recommend getting the game to work. So that if you ever decide to play again. You can.
Playground games has only been focusing on Xbox users. Even though many are pc users. I wish you all luck!
