When looking on the leaderboard of Horizon Realms, there’s a few people having a score of 999,999,999 Skill Points, How it is possible for them to achieve a score like this within 5 minutes in a session?
They’re cheating and using mods. It’s been an issue with all the leaderboards since the game’s initial launch 4 years ago.
They are cheaters.
They are cheaters using mods that manipulate the scores.
It’s the new Forza, specially made for fraudsters. Welcome to the new reality.
In the past, cheaters were banned - today they are the customers who are counted on.
If you have “paid DLC”, you need everything that has money - including cheaters.
as noted, the “how” of it is cheating, which any old fool can look into
the “why” is depressing - cheaters, bullies, inadequate people, warped senses of humour, you name it, when there are no consequences of any note humans can all-too-often be deeply unpleasant
Actually, it’s not new. These sort of ridiculous scores have been around since Forza Horizon 3. Releasing on PC made it easier to mod the games.
I’ve read that PGG, Turn10 and MS crack down on mods, but they don’t clean up Horizon leaderboards. Even now you will find unbelievable scores on FH3 and FH4. I know they’re not on sale and barely supported, but the lack of action taken to clean those leaderboards suggests that PGG won’t clean FH5 or FH6 or any other possible future release. Maybe they ban reported offenders, but who knows? I assume they are quick to remove offensive liveries and vinyls, but the cheated scores remain.
With Motorsport it’s easy to flag a suspicious time because there’s an option to do exactly that next to every time. As every lap is recorded it’s easier to check.
You should delete your screenshots from your post as there’s a ‘no naming and shaming’ policy on this forum, so they’ll be removed if you don’t. Or the whole thread will be deleted.
Do report the scores though.
you can dm screenshots, certainly to T10 people, that’s okay
1 billion Realms Skill Score in the Auction House? Really?
