How am I able to report players? (if at all)

Hi, I’m new here to the forums.

I was wondering if there is anyway of reporting people to Turn10 or something like that as I have heard around that there is a way to do so.
So I was playing the new/returning ABC’S hopper with my friends and we did this one race where I was in a C class and after a few laps I got into trouble with this player who I believe was in B class if not A class. As I was doing the proper lines, braking etc and he wasnt, I overtook him until one point where we got to a hairpin (we were racing around COTA) and he deliberately went full speed into the back of my car and crashed me off. I have links to 6 clips that I made of this driver in a red Porsche Cayman.

[Mod Edit - D]

In clip 2 you see him collide with my friend TSCAR4SM.
Yes I do hit into him after a few times but my friends and I only ever do that if they do it first.

If there is anything else I need to add then I will try to do so, and all help I am grateful of.

You have a Private Message on these forums.

We use full, in-game videos, no “clips” or “YouTube” type replays.

Is it enough to provide you with the data of a Replay?

…and make sure you use the right font in your message. That’s important.

In all seriousness it’s infinitely easier to be a griefer than an honest player in multiplayer races. How frustrating is it that there’s one person responsible for policing players, and that the “rules” to reporting obviously dirty players are so arcane, specific and limited? One person policing half a million players?

I’ll stick to ghost leagues, where the only issue is putting up with blatant track cutters.

The process may be difficult, but it’s all we have to work with.

I would encourage the OP to edit their post and remove the Gametag of the person they are accusing. Naming and shaming is discouraged on these forums.

Peace

And dont start crashing back
It makes you as bad as them

The reason the method for reporting is so specific is to ensure everyone’s safety.
Anyone can throw up a clip of someone crashing into them, but for all you know they could have been ramming that player for 6 races before they lost their cool and retaliated. With a whole race replay it’s far easier to weed out people trolling for reactions so they can get normal players banned. With a full replay it’s as full a picture as they can get, rather than just taking someone’s word for it.

I thought I replied to this already but I guess not.
If you report this person and it shows you retaliated you will get banned for a week as well as them.

Reporting dirty drivers is pointless. Furthermore when you get em back they have a cheek to say they’re reporting you lol.

If you are retaliating, you’re really twice as bad as the original wrecker because you KNOW it is not allowed.

And, it is not pointless. The only pointless things are posts like this without the knowledge of what is happening “behind the scenes” to the crashers, and wasting time posting instead of properly filing a report which has positive outcomes for those wishing to race without the crashers.

[Mod Edit - profanity is a violation of forum rules - MM]

I disagree. It may be time consuming, take a while and be a small attempt to fix a big problem, it isn’t a waste of time. Eventually, people will grow tired of their “prolonged vacations” from the game.

Agreed, theres always gonna be someone who occasionally dis obeys lobbies rules. No need to rat anybody out about it if its not gonna get resolved. Nobody likes a snitch…

It will get resolved as they are violating xbox live code of conduct, how are they going to learn what the proper way to act in public lobbies is without being put in time out? The more people that get reported the better chances of getting clean lobbies. And sure there will always be idiots there’s no cure for that.

No one is being a snitch we are reporting people for not following the rules. If someone smashed into your car driving down main street IRL and just took off would you call the police and file a report or just say well there’s always gonna be someone who occasionally disobeys State/government rules so I’ll just let this one go not like the LEO’s will actually catch them anyway?

Its a game. People get so into this that they forget its JUST A GAME. If I’m driving on a interstate, and I see some dude weaving in an out of traffic. Am I gonna call the police? Hell no, let him live his life and hope he enjoys his life driving crazy. Its just a game, if people are going to take it to heart then someone should make a insurance policy for forza lmao. Meet people online, recruit them or make em as your friends, create another lobby and invite them ONLY, simple as that. People staring infront of a tv and just doing what they want because they have that right, they wen out spend a large amount of cash on a Xbox on and the game, and their entitled to play however they want. Its their right to do what they feel that makes em happy, so let em be. If thats so the case about making this a big deal, then grow some balls, buy a car, tune, and go drive on a real track!!

It is just a game, but it’s a game with rules set by The Xbox Live Code of Conduct, that all players agree to when the sign up on XBOX LIVE. The foolishness of one should never disrupt the enjoyment of many. When it does, those people should be reported and given a time out. If they don’t learn, the next time should be a longer time out, then on the third strike you are out.
But that isn’t what bothers me most about your comment. You say you would just ignore a driver weaving in and out of traffic you wouldn’t report that. So, when would you report it? After he kills someone? After he kills someone you care about? You won’t be able to report him if he kills you.
At some point, you have to grow up and have a little responsibility. Laws and Rules are in place to maintain order, and protect everyone. It’s usually someone, with an attitude like yours, that ends up receiving the worst end of it, and wondering. WHY ME?
Bottom line, intentional wreckers need to be reported. A lot of players are tired of having their races ruined by meatheads who only get heir jollies ruining other people’s fun. We are taking this seriously, and working together to clean up our game. I hope you get on board, but if not, you will ultimately gain the benefit of better racing because others cared enough to do something, rather than justify the nonsense like you do.

Its none of my business how people drive. It happens every day… EVERYDAY you cant stop it. Some people just don’t think, they know better but they want to push themselves. Sorry I wasn’t born as a rat. If I see someone in the wrong doing and it doesn’t effect me and my daily production of life, I just watch it. If you have kids and you see kids doing drugs over n over. Would you be more concerned about your kid or others? This is a crazy world ae live in we cant control everything! But its a game so calm down already, its just a bunch of graphics, if its life threatjng or a dramatic change in your life, that your losing sleep over then do something about it. Your gonna grow up one day an realize how stupid it was to argue about this, because eventually, like anything else, you get your priorities straight and everything else doesn’t matter

This will be my last post, because you are obviously convinced that ignoring things will make them none of your concern.
Yes, dangerous driving happens every day. AND innocent people die due to that dangerous driving, EVERY DAY! Like I said, someone like you will ignore it until it causes you harm personally. THAT is the epitome of irresponsibility
Yes, I have kids. They are grown and doing quite well. They have given me two grandchildren too, and if I SEE kids doing drugs, any kids, I will call the police and do whatever I can to keep the drugs out of the hands of any kids. THAT is what RESPONSIBLE people do.
Calm down? I’m calm. I am merely countering your ridiculous rhetoric with the TRUTH. It can sometimes be difficult to get through to the irresponsible. But I try.
I am doing something about it. I am saving replays and using the prescribed method to report those who intentionally enter multiplayer races to disrupt them. INTENTIONAL WRECKERS. Irresponsible meatheads who have no respect for others or the XBOX LIVE CODE OF CONDUCT.
I’m going to grow up? I am 57 years old, retired military, with 2 great children and 2 grand children I adore. I grew up, probably before you were even in diapers.
My priorities are straight. I respect other people, laws and rules. I am charitable and spend more time helping other people than I do worrying about material things. But I won’t get into what I do, because you wouldn’t get it.
Things do matter. Our actions matter. Especially when those actions affect other people in a negative way. That’s the difference between an intelligent, mature, responsible, adult, and an ignorant, immature, irresponsible, child (your age is unimportant if you act like a child).
I will continue doing the right thing. You do what you choose. But our conversation here is done.

Peace

Just a cranky old man got nothing better to do other than complain, yea like you never did drugs in your day?! Ha hypocritical. I do appreciate your service.

In the courtesy of posting on these forums, you can talk on the subject, but personal attacks (see http://forums.forza.net/turn10_postst10661_Forza-Motorsport-Forums-Terms-of-Use.aspx and http://forums.forza.net/turn10_postst263_Code-of-Conduct-for-Forzamotorsport-net-Community-Forums.aspx) are not acceptable.

If you wish to debate someone, take it to Private Messages. A lot of people are concerned about taking the intentional crashers out of the game. If you’re not among those who want to have, not only for yourself but others, nice, clean and competitive racing, please don’t attack those who do and are contributing to the community as a whole.
