You are right it is a game and many of us play to escape real life for a few hours a day, not get trolled by someone that thinks it’s funny to crash everyone. I have many friends and do an organised league every Sunday, but guess what sometimes I like to play and my buddys are not on so I jump into a MP hopper. Just because someone paid for a console and a game does not in fact give them the right to play however they please, by intentionally crashing people they are violating the xbox code of conduct.
At the end of your race, after you collect your credits and XP, choose the Save Replay tab at the top, instead of Continue. Then use the information you were provided in the PM from Snowowl.
I need answers now. 3 weeks worth of leagues and same [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity, profanity and profanity that is disguised but still alludes to the words are not permitted - D] is still wreckin me. I have soo many replays saved. How do i send them in
I have updated the “Rules of engagement post” about wreckers. Read number 10 and it will give you a step by step process on what to do if you happen to be in a lobby with a wrecker.
Great advise, and something more people should be doing.
If I may add a few things to make sure you do not run into any issues with reporting these wreckers.
When you name your replay DO NOT USE ANY GAMERTAGS. Use the random letters, numbers or combination like we’re suggested here.
When you save you replay DO NOT PUT ANYTHING IN THE DESCRIPTION. You want to keep any reference to the GAMERTAGS in question OUT of the search capabilities.
When you review your replays: Use a consistent camera (I prefer follow advanced) and review from the perspective of each driver. Yes, it takes time. But it’s the only way to ensure you are reporting actual wreckers and not wasting your time, or anyone else’s time, by reporting unskilled players or just plain accidents.
While reviewing your replays. Go into photo mode to check for inappropriate content on cars. Profanity, nudity, pornography, pedophilia, references to drugs, racism, etc.
These things exist and need to be reported in the same way.
This system is frustrating and severely undermanned and under used, in my opinion. However, it is all we have available and we should use it properly and often to help clean up the game.
Sorry if I rambled, but I believe those points are very important.
Look at it like this. And this might be a harsh reality check. How is forza gonna help you, or make you better/successful person at life? Because thats what’s REALLY important, making money to buy the game and please YOUR needs. The last thing turn 10 wants to do is ban someone, but a happy customer is a returning customer. If theres any type of solution, whomever charges or hit someone should have there credits taken away and rewarded to you. I will admit when I had forza 2, occasionally id purposly go in a lobby and intentionally crash into someone, why? Because theres nothing funnier than listening to someone who cries about a game and takes it so seriously that they scream about it lmao. Just because I play madden, advance my team to the playoffs then the superbowl, does not mean I have a mansion or even a Lamborghini parked in my driveway lmao. People get caught up in these games and want some type of authority with it, sometimes its ok to play in a lobby that dont take the game as seriously, because playing something on dimensional gets BORING.
Then go find a game that fits you better. They are out there. Using your flawed logic I could go to the local high school football game and run out on the field and just start tackling kids. Or wait for the Macy’s Parade to start and plow through them with a Monster Truck. Because, hey it’s just a game and that parade is boring. Grow up and learn a little personal responsibility and respect for others.
lol lets keep the drugs and running people over in real life somewhere else.
simply put if you don’t want to record people on forza for cheating/wrecking people then don’t. I for one will do it every time because I like knowing im helping the community instead of looking the other way. Saying it doesn’t work is a horrible argument. Everyday a thread gets locked because somebody didn’t obey the rules put forth by Xbox and they are paying the price and want to know why.
