The sim setting is in the advanced settings,inside sim racing said someone from T10 said to use 330dor in fm5 so I have been using it in 6 with the TX and works fine!! Edit,sim is is the assists options!

I think he meant the sim/normal steering setting. That 330 dor was said to Darin from inside sim racing, he was told to use it for the ford coyote because that’s what it was programmed for or something like that.

You are right but 330 has really worked well for me,maybe beause I am used to it,i don’t know it justs works.

My bad, I misunderstood. I already run Sim steering in the assists menu, I though there was something further in the wheel configuration I wasn’t seeing.

I’m quite happy at the moment with 630 DOR but I’m gonna have to try out a wider variety of vehicles still. There’s always room for improvement. But where I was this morning and where I am now is like night and day so thanks for all the feedback.

I use 420 DOR in game (900 on base) and Sensitivity mode 2 on my TX, works perfect for me.

i use the cheapo wheel 458 with no feedback, having ran for years on a controller i got used to running with no feedback and on pcars i can control the cars fine yet on this game turning the wheel more than a tiny amount puts the cars into full lock.

ive been through all the settings changed stuff to test it and nothing fixes it, they need to let us change the DOR settings so i can put mine up higher to give me more wheel turn degrees before teh car goes into full lock, driving on the edge of every corner not steering enough as i’m worried it will lock up and go straight on is ruining the game for me.

if anyone has any advice id be happy to hear it

Make sure you are set to “normal steering” in the assists, and make sure you have the sensitivity set correctly on the wheel hardware itself. Also check your deadzone settings in the advanced controller options. You want to be set to

0/100 for steering
0/100 for acceleration
0/100 for deceleration
