Having an option to turn it off, would do wondes, as you could actually see the road and not just clouds of dust and flashing lights.

I did the weekly challenge with the muscle cars there today to get the German hoodie. Which actually isn’t a hoodie but a jacket with a hood that I already got but that’s not the point. The actual one is that the helicopter was there. In a race not a rally event. I so far thought it’ll only be there for rallies because it’s replacing the co-driver giving the pace notes which you obviously don’t get in races but that doesn’t seems to be the case. Why it also has to be around in the races only PGG knows.

I was running the Halo showcase remix in FH4 today and noticed the debris being kicked up by the craft flying in front. I realized it was pulled from there and reskinned as a heli.

I turned off SFX VOLUME and that got rid of the helicopter sound but also got rid of the crowd noise the start of the race sounds maybe even the missed checkpoint countdown and also could be other sounds missing but if you can care less for all of that you can get rid of the HELICOPTER sound
it was really complicated nailing down how the helicopter moves, it’s all based on the finish line, nearby objects, and your car placement. this was the closest I could get, even with much heavier cars
I would prefer if the helicopter wasn’t there in races. I guess it has some sort of function in rally stages, but it is just hovering there being annoying during races.
