1000 bhp right behind my seat yet the helicopter is all I hear. Why? Who would think this was a nice touch? Can someone tell me how I can switch off the mosquito please?

You can turn the sound of the helicopter and cannons down in the settings.
Still not as annoying as the birds that would fly over the track every lap on cue.
