Have any online tips?

So to me fun of this game is trying to race clean, improve lap times, etc. Online is always going to have douche bags, I get that… Last night in a race I passed a guy on the final corner, racing towards the finish line I had him by half a car length and he ran me off the road.

So I am looking for some tips for online racing. My main issue is with corners, I slow down for them! crazy I know… The worst by far is the first corner of every race. If I slow down and try and take the corner clean some guy comes smashing into the back of me… I actually prefer to start towards the back and work my way up. I start 13th and i’m 5th after the first corner, I start 1st and i’m 13th lol.

I have tried using different cars with a faster launch to see if that helps but i tend to just have to slow down more for the corner that way.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated! I am new to the online racing world!

Stay back and let everyone take themselves out. Then fight for 1st through 5th with the last 4 people and don’t make any daring moves till the last couple corners. Chances are theyll take themselves out by the end of the race. Hope this helps!

Thats the same tactic i use as well. If you happen to be in second with nobody else really around but 1st i will usually pace him for a little bit while putting my nose of the car around him with out touching him. Normally if they dont touch you when you look to pass and back off they wont hit you when you do actually make the pass.

the single most important tip for online racing:

Hold your own line. Dont move around unexpectedly.

If you pick a line, stick with it. Its when people take a line then decide to move off it is when accidents happen.

Don’t come back on the track in a heavy traffic time. You must watch out for others.
