About 10 days back my game was getting weird and it didnt save my game save to the cloud for whatever reason.
When i started the game i could pick between 2 saves, One was cloud (Date: 17th October 2024) and one was local (the most up to date save so newer than the cloud).
When i then just closed the game instead of just picking cloud or local, the game started normally with the newest game save, but every time since then it wanted me to pick between cloud wich was always 17th of october and the local file wich was always the newest.
I always closed the game and started again and it worked everytime.
But i knew that wasnt normal so i contacted support.
Here is what they said:
Hello,
Thank you for contacting Forza support, we appreciate the information you shared in this ticket regarding your save data. We will be glad to assist you with this situation.
In this case, please try the following things for the platform you’re playing on and try to sync your save after each step. These steps are intended to help the missing data to be synchronized and displayed in-game, and also to update your game activity in our system:
If you get the message to pick between save files, please note the date is when the save was created, not when it was last saved.
PC Windows Version
-
If possible, try to load your save on a different device. (A different PC or Xbox)
-
Please restart your PC then load your game to sync data.
-
Please try to manually update the game and any DLC using the Microsoft Store.
-
UWP Reset Application
- Windows>Settings>Applications>title>Advanced Options>Reset
-
Perform a Windows Store reset:
- Press the Win+R keys to open the Run dialog.
- Type WSReset.exe, and click/tap on OK.
- The WSReset tool resets the Windows Store without changing account settings or deleting installed apps.
- A command prompt will now open without any message. After about 30 seconds, the command prompt will automatically close, and the Microsoft Store app will open.
If the problem persists, please reply to this ticket.
Jager24
So I did everything.
First starting my Xbox One S, when loading the game, it said: your other xbox console is taking a long time to sync to the cloud
So i started FH4 on my PC to see if the same problem is still there but its not. FH4 synced perfectly from PC to Xbox.
I restarted my PC countless times but nothing helped.
I couldnt update the game manually since the newest version was already installed.
Reseting the windows store did absolutely nothing and reseting the game brought me here in utter dissapointment.
I now saw this an Error code E:45-b then restarted the game and now its syncing data forever and stuck at 0%.
