Lost all my save game data

So I’m in a bit of a bind here, as I lost all my save data and I don’t know what to do, or if there’s even anything to do. Basically I play the game on my PC, but decided to download the game to my living room Xbox. After I downloaded it however it started me on a new game, not my save game (where I was level ~100 and had done a ton of the content) freaked out I quit out and started again on my computer, bam, back to the beginning. Now at some point before it started the game over for me, it asked me to chose my sync to download. I assumed I’d download the most recent one since it gave me a choice between “newer” and “older” but at that time I didn’t realize the newer one was the empty one and I couldn’t find a way to reverse that decision. So I’m basically out of luck it seems. I read a similar forum for FH3, and that’s what they’re saying over there, but I figured I’d post here, just in case I’m missing something.
Also I’m just going to stare up at the ceiling now. And think about all the things I don’t want to have to do for the second time.

This is why I refuse to play Forza on my Xbox as well as PC. It’s supposed to sync your save but for some reason you always read horror stories involving game saves whenever anybody tries to actually play on both systems. The whole system is glitched and untrustworthy.

I do it all the time with both fm7 and fh4 and used to do it no issues with fh3 as well

Not sure why people have issues doing unless they cancel the sync

I do it all the time, never had an issue with sync back and forth. Never hit cancel. He picked the wrong cloud save unfortunately. I use PC to do the seasonal stuff since it loads events and fast traveling so much faster on PC.

People are glitched and untrustworthy. When I wasn’t able to sync my cloud save a couple of days ago the game gave me the choice of continuing offline so that’s what I did. When I booted up the Xbox later the game told me that the cloud and the local save didn’t match and gave me the choice. I’d put a good couple of hours in offline so chose the local save. Immediately went to the Festival to let it overwrite the cloud save and away I went again. The system worked flawlessly.
