Game freezes or breaks while looking for cars in my garage

The new update just came out and i already found a gamebreaking bug, well at least for me right now, while im looking to choose a car in my garage the game suddenly freezes or brakes. I already tested this several times with the same outcome so its definitely a game bug, so please turn 10 fix this because i cant even look for the car that i want to use.

Also sometimes it shows me a weird black car so that may be the casue of the problem, also this is happennig to me in a normal xbox one.

I hope yo can find a solution to the problem please.

Have you tried fully power cycling your console including pulling the power cable …as you probably should every time there is an update

I already tried that and it still crashes, i dont know if it is because i have to many cars (400) and im using an OG xbox or the game is simply broken for me.

Anyway this game is over for me now because it seems that im the only one with this issue and i know that nobody will help me, i can see it by the fact that almost nobody have seen or post anything in this thread. Is a shame because i have the ultimate edition of this game and i have been playing since day one, i even pre-order it and now is all in the thrash ,i guess im gonna have to wait until horizon 4

I am having the same issue with the game freezing while selecting cars in the garage. I have tried several times, restarted console fully removing all power to it, as well as restarting my modem. I can do everything but select a car, so as of right now we cannot play the game. (Xbox)

Gotta be your end, I’ve seen no such issues.

Got the game on 2 different Xbox one X and another one s. Over 800 cars in the garage, not seeing this problem on my end.

You might try deleting local game save only, and let it resync with the cloud.

for what i understand the problem is happening on the OG xbox, not in the S or the X, so i believe that the problem comes from the original xbox not being able to stand that many cars in this game.

the problem is i need more information on this to find a solution, because not many people have this issue right now.

i would like to know if anybody with an xbox one S or X has this problem or if it is an original xbox only problem.

I have 800 cars on the original Xbox but have no issues with the garage. In another thread someonw thought it was the new Aston Marten that was crashing his game, but I don’t have that [problem either. Mayne a connection problem?

Yeah im not saying that it happens to every single original xbox, but for some of them it seems that they are not able to handle the game properly.

But who knows, lets see if someone with a xbox one s or x have this same issue and then we can try to find a proper solution to it.

I am having the exact same issue. If I view my cars or try and select a car, my game freezes. I am playing on a Xbox One X

I’m not exactly having the same issue, my game kind of broke when trying to download a Forzathon reward. I would uninstall the game and reinstall it. I’m doing so, and I’ll comment again in about a day or two and tell y’all if it worked.

It should work, at least. When I downloaded FH2 it was really buggy and it crashed a lot, so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it without attempting to play the game and it worked fine when it was fully downloaded, so it should work for FM7.

EDIT: Oh, and it probably isn’t due to the amount of cars you have. I have 700+ cars and my game ran fine until today. I think it’s just the update causing a lot of the issues. : /

Yup my game does the same. Digital download, Xbox one s, no problems on other games, tried power cycle, have very few cars, has done this since I got the game a few months ago. Between this and the long loading, I don’t play Forza 7 anymore. I was balls deep in Forza 1-4, 5 was w.e. 6 was ok, 7 is broken for me so cool T10… game freezes or crashes when I scroll through cars.
