FM23 are cars controlled by Game Controller faster than those controlled by Racing Wheels?
No, it’s possible to be fast with either control method.
both are equal, however, due to trigger stop, xbox elite controllers are better than normal xbox controllers.
Correct, with a trigger stop one can clamp their max braking force to just under the typical locking point (75%) on every car. Has been a thing ever since the first Elite Controller released around the time of Forza Motorsport 6.
That only worked on elite 1 which given the build quality I doubt many still survive. With series 2 it assumes 100% input at the lock point. No work around this via customisation either
Only the series 1, which there can’t be many left of by now. I went through 3 of them. The series 2 is much better quality but lacks this feature. Whatever you set the lock to it assumes 100% input.
Ppl that have AC in their rooms are faster because they have a cool head. I am just saying things that don’t make any sense like the OP.
But I do have an AC now and it’s awesome. It’s a Bosch Cool 5000.
Interesting.
I only have the Series 1.
Wow you must’ve looked after that. Or got lucky. Yes I really I miss that feature. Set the trigger lock to 50% then adjust the BP to dial in the exact lock up point. Luckily or unluckily depending on how you feel about it the no ABS nerf has made it redundant
Or you could adjust the % input at lockout for pre tuned cars. The new one is better for FPS games though
tbh it depends mostly on your driving style, i like to push my cars and slide trough corners, and controller assits help a lot with this style of driving.
But on other side, steering wheels are better with precision driving.
Wheels will always be much easier for oval racing.
A pad with a stick extender (like KontrolFreeks) can be just as smooth, been using one for over a decade.
Sure. They Diss whell drivers for years now. In my opinion, Microsoft ist interested in buying fanatec for the lowest price possible, so they have to avoid that people buying their racing wheels. Seems logical for me.
