Well since the game launched I have only seen the week in review mention a patch or update for the following week. I expected patches would come out on Tuesdays or something but we keep getting game updates the following Friday and have to read about it in that weeks week in review.
I bet you that the next update to this game come out next Friday and we read about it for the first time in that week in review
I’m rolling on the floor laughing at the people saying we should cut them some slack. This game in the current state is legitimately broken and should be removed from market, like WB Games did with Arkham Knight, until it is fixed. Keeping it on the market and for the longest time refusing to acknowledge there being any issues on the tech support forum just threw fuel on the fire.
They didn’t say they were gonna fix the crashing so I just got my refund instead, waited a month for a fix and no fix means you sold a broken game to me so yyeeeaaa. . .
Addressing issues and player concerns about FM7 should have been at the top of that list. The majority of people actually want to hear progress about the game, not advertisements or partnerships with the game. FM7 is one of the biggest releases for the Xbox One this year and the flagship title for Microsoft’s $500 console, it’s embarrassing the state it’s released in.
I understand Turn 10 can’t say what will be in the next patch until very close to or at release, but they really should put way more effort into community interaction. If I had to guess, the Xbox One X version is top priority and they’re doing everything they can to get it in the best possible condition for release and until that’s fully functional, don’t expect many major changes to the Xbox One or PC versions.
I honestly only have one big issue with the game and its the PC stability… I cannot complete more than sometimes 2 races consecutive online without my game locking up and crashing to desktop. Its extremely annoying and gets me super frustrated quickly and more than any other issue with the game. I can wait for added features to the game but if I cant even play the game for more than 10 minutes straight I may as well play something else…
I literally just had to restart Forza because it crashed after a race was completed and it just now crashed again just sitting in the hopper lobby. [Mod Edit - Abbreviated profanity removed - D]

All this really says is you may need to have only FM7 and a fully updated Windows10 and Drivers nothing alse on your computer this is not a feasible fix just how do you play your other games on the PC if you can only have FM7 on it because as soon as you turn on some types of AV, firewall or any other app or game it will crash.
I know your trying Nitro but this is a poor idear at best and I know it is not your fault or doing, as you are trying to help players but what is the point of buying a game that will only run on a PC all by its lonesome with no other apps or back ground processes running.
And us Xbox one users…?
I will agree with the sentiment that in general I see Turn 10 putting efforts into fluff content both within their games and in their social media content, rather than getting into more meaty and substantial subjects.
And that’s one of the major reasons that this place has become the echo chamber that it is.
If I could find another PC racing game with a structured online racing system that isn’t dead with like 10 racers daily I would probably switch…

Everyone has a breaking point Kranktus. I think to criticise the game is fair but keeping it technical and no abuse towards the Devs and fighting with each other on here as neither helps the situation. Everybody walks in different shoes so some of us can afford the game and live in hope they can fix it ASAP while others are living a very tight budget and probably had to go without or postpone other commitments just to get the game. Some have even pointed out buying equipment Xbox etc just for the arrival of FM7 so the level of disappointment can vary wildly. The last thing on anyone’s mind when they ordered the game was I want to return or I will have to wait a month to be able to use it because they were looking forward to it. Right now I am looking forward to them fixing it and we can all talk cars, tracks paints and tunes here on the forum and of course race. People can sugar coat it all they like when in reality all many got was the “Early Release” part which appears to be released too early. I am a very calm person and patience is my middle name even I spat the dummy the other day which is not normal.

How about they pay us to be the beta testers then?!? I paid $100 for the privilege of beta testing their game? Really?!? How about no? This game has been sitting idle for a week now, think I’m going to jump on the refund bandwagon. Once all the free beta testing is complete, I may purchase again, but never pre order from Turn10 ever again.
LOL Alan. I don’t think Nitro was implying to only have Forza 7 on the PC rather isolate the app to see if it runs fine and not conflicting with anything else. It will be a pity if it is conflicting with W10.
I tried all this out of desperation in the first week and it didn’t seem to make much difference if any because the only consistency is it will crash. Might be the first corner of the first race or on a VERY good day quite a few races in.

If I was doing Nitros Job I would just Ban the Lot of us from using the forums and report back no no complaints on the forums today all seemes real quiet😀
