Maybe it’s cause they need think carefully on what to write in this week’s review, so they can promptly update you guys as to what’s coming soon/later and not to trigger mines in this minefield that’s otherwise known as the Forza community.
7.5 on IGN, which is basically a fail as that site rarely gives big-name releases anything less than 8.5 #becausefreegames
Still, though. Hard not to agree with the sentiment that T10 seems just a little hesitant to wade back into these waters. Personally, I think they need to toughen up but it is what it is.
Legal difficulties are currently preventing us from publishing the Forza Week in Review. Once it’s up, we’ll let you know. (Fixed for them)
Seriously, as i said on Tweeter what ‘technical issue’ can prevent publishing some text and a few pictures on a site that is obviously up and running? It is either not done or they are not sure how to word fluff something. I am generally relax about this thing but that kind of stuff is really taking us for 2 of spades.
Maybe we should all calm this down a little. I am as unhappy about my game situation as the rest of you but putting them under constant attack is not going to solve a thing and I get the feeling they have got the message loud and clear in regard to that. If they release the news and it is not answering everybody’s differing issues they know it will start WW3. If they rush out the patch then the same thing applies. I am starting to feel sorry for them and they probably are on rewrite 1500 of both to try to cover everything.
I guess I shouldn’t care this much… The week in review is going to be Turn10 telling us about how they have added 2 hoppers and fixed like 2 bugs while everything else is wrong with the game lol
So looks like the week in review ended up being even worse than I expected… Vip rewards might be in the game at some point next week and we got 2 hoppers and some rivals but no patch fixing anything bugged or wrong with the game.
Expect this game to remain exactly how it is until Forza 8 releases but dont worry they will make sure to add a a few hoppers here and there and maybe get those coming soon parts of the game released before the next Forza installation launches
You know what… you’re right, me too. I mean, we should feel sorry for the king when he treats his peasants like dirt, that seems like the right thing to do.
They should feel horrible for what they’ve done, or moreso, not done. And hopefully in the future, once most of this is fixed, they will look back on it and remember what they have treated their fans and the people that fund their paychecks.
They deserve the barrage of anger and frustration that is constantly being delivered. If any of us, at our jobs, performed in this regard we could expect similar response by our coworkers, our bosses and our customers. And we would deserve every minute of it. I would be embarrassed if I acted like this in my career. I would expect every single client of mine to fire me and pass on to other prospective clients and colleagues not to work with me.
So even though I’m immensely enjoying this game, I’m not looking past the actions of the developer. They need to be held accountable. We deserve an explanation. We deserve to have the missing and faulty parts in this game fixed in a timely manner. And that time is now running very short.
At this point I only have a few check marks to complete the elite career. And then there won’t be much left for me in this game. I almost have maximum Reward Points as well. If the functions that are missing don’t show up by the 1st major update on November 2nd, I think my best option would be to get the game refunded at this point. I can always buy it a year from now for 1/3 the price if I ever want to play it again. Since I don’t play any multiplayer, there’s not much more for the game to offer me.
