A friendly inquiry if there is any time frame of sorts for when we can expect the next patch?
I’ve been a bit bummed that I haven’t been able to play Forza 7 as of late because of the memory leaks, the mini-stuttering (Murphy hates me and makes me game stutter during the most crucial of times. Last time it micro stuttered in the last turn of the last lap in Spa and I ended up hitting the rail, dropped 11 positions …) and unfortunate frequent crashing.
Thats really awesome that they have finally given us an ETA for the next patch and the fact that it is next Tuesday is even better. That seriously just made my day a little brighter and now I cant wait for Tuesday. Hopefully they dont change their mind. Good Show T10, Good Show.
Yes it was ELF telepathy. No its called reading and its FUNdamental.
It was in the week in review:
That’s about it for today’s edition of the Week in Review. A quick reminder that our next update for Forza Motorsport 7 will include the new VIP double-rewards feature, where Forza 7 VIPs will earn a 2X base credit bonus after every race. We’re aiming to have the update released next week, so stay tuned to FM.net for the very latest. Until then, have a great weekend and happy racing!
They didnt say what else was going to be in the patch but any patch is a start and the VIP fix is awesome.
Makes sense not posting this in the forum where everybody is complaining about the lack of communication.
Or put it as a message in the actual game, maybe ?
No, it’s not way past next week. We are still in next week. The week ends on Saturday technically and patches can fall any day between Monday and Saturday.
“… our next update for Forza Motorsport 7 will include the >>>NEW<<< VIP double-rewards feature, where Forza 7 VIPs will earn a 2X base credit bonus after every race”
The only new thing is that the VIP-Bonus wasn’t enabled at the launch. Now after one Month i’ve allready all cars i wanted to drive… so i think the bonus is at this moment not important for me, just please fix the bugs so i can play this game without a crash every 2-3 races… thank you…
imagine if such a bugy game would have been released on for example ps2 or xbox where you couldn’t just install a patch to fix it… this game would simply just be unplayable.
Which is why most developers back then actually made the quality of their games a priority. Although you’ve got to admit that games nowadays are much more complex than they were 15 years ago in terms of programming. The more codes you write the easier it’s for you to make mistakes. I think games in the future would only become more buggy and you’d be better off buying them at least 3 months or 4 after release if you don’t want to pay the developers to become their beta testers…
