We’re aware of the global interest in promotions but these are limited in scope by legal and logistics. I suggest posting the suggestion “Make regional promotions available everywhere for fairness” (or similar) in the Xbox Insiders Reddit. As we expand the Suggestions Hub on the Forza Forums you can also put this in Other Suggestions and we’ll pass it along.
Just as a clarification for anyone who might be thinking otherwise: the teams that work on partnerships have nothing to do with the teams working on bug fixing.
The good thing about this promo for non-USA players is that it isn’t special cars. Yes the standard version players don’t have the chance to get a “free” upgrade to premium but it could be worse.
How about doing a “partnership” with an actual company that, I dunno, actually does car stuff? Like Hotchkis suspensions, or Summit racing? Maybe do a promotional booth at SEMA?
They want to reach a broader demographic than just car guys. So if they went with a car-related promo, it would be something with a larger customer base than Summitt or Hotchkis (although I have ordered from Summit). Maybe Valvoline or Firestone or Goodyear.
Don’t get me wrong. I’m not trying to offend anyone. I just think salads are a healthier option for most Americans. It’s not like I’m suggesting they eat something disgusting like pigs brains or maple syrup…
‘wine moms’ have kids who might play video games. Both Forza and the business profit. Only a limited people buy Hotchkis Suspension and then infrequently.
Then they should just stop making games in a very limited genre. Create a game with a limited userbase, then try and make it not limited makes for a bad game. Go chase Fortnite and the arena genre if you want just a massive userbase with “sales”. Once you chase sales in a genre that has always been limited, you’ve lost the focus…
