Hello!
First of all i want to say i very like Forza series! Its a perfect racing!

Im wanna talk about future Horizon location setting!
So we want to preposal idea 3 setting
California
UK
China or Japan

US, Europe or Asia?

Or maybe its not open world or track around the world Tokyo, HongKong, London, Dubai, Moscow, Saint-Petersburg, New-York, Chicago, Miami, San-Franscisco, Los Angeles
And called it

Forza Horizon World Tour

Each location with the own car championships,

Totally agree about the area. I’ve been longing for a good sim racing as this to feature the famous car scene from Steve McQueen’s Bullitt between the Ford Mustang and Dodge Charger-bring it !

I honestly think that would be awsome if they did this… especially because you know for sure you’d catch all the drifters in the “tokyo” area. But if forza would do horizon 4 I’d want it just in Japan, they have the cities, but also the farm areas and the forest and stuff that you could drive through. Not to mention it would be a big Island, and they could set it up with an “airport” to fly to the rest of the map i.e.) California and stuff.

We should do Japan this time even though it’s tight. We should have an Epansion Pack where we could revisit the maps of Forza Horizon, Forza Horizon 2, and Forza Horizon 3 but with new Bucket list challenges and cars. I think the player should be the festival boss again. Als, more race cars and other vechicles we nwver saw in Forza like the 2017 Ford Fusion and 2017 Ford Focus ST.

The complete Shutoku Highway System…would be awesome. I haven’t seen it since the Tokyo Xtreme Racer days or Import Tuner Challenge for the X360.

Japan would be great!
Tight mountain roads and fast run on midnight highways.

I was thinking Rio de Janeiro and its surrounding areas. Beaches, urban areas, woodlands, hills, etc. - good variety.

My top picks for horizon 4 would be Tokyo, Abu Dhabi, or Los Angeles.

Vancouver BC Canada!!! and surrounding areas.

Japan would be good. Has a great mix of twisting mountain roads, high rising cities, rural landscapes and the car culture there is great.

I would also recommend Ibiza. There are also some great (but slightly dangerous) twisty roads there, it’s a great festival (party) location and realistically PG should be able to capture the whole island being that it’s around 45 mins from north to south and 25 minutes from west to east. FH4 needs a bigger map but PG haven’t really created a “full” open world. IBZ is a good opportunity to do that.

New Zealand. Fun tight roads good off roading small towns and a few city’s. And as said above by people Japan or Middle East would be great

Sorry if I am bumping an old post but I defiantly think New Zealand not just because I live there, but because of the varied car culture and scenery and we gave the world Bruce McLaren, finally because NZ isn’t that commonly used as a setting in video games so its fresh.

It would be great to have both a scaled down version of both the North and South island with interesting scenery in each and of course some interesting driving roads.

For barn finds I would like to see some pieces of our vehicle assembly industry say have some British cars, Japanese cars, American cars, European cars and Australian classics oh and some unique to NZ cars like the Trekka and the late 80s Mitsubishi V3000. Better be a A31 Cefero in there because NZ maybe not as a barnfind though.

Oh by the way Playground Games are the main developers of the Horizon series.

For Forza Horizon 4, I say have it take place in Abu Dhabi, with additional locations in Qatar and Dubai. Imagine starting out with the first Horizon Festival at Yas Marina Circuit. One of the biggest F1 tracks in the racing circuit… home to the biggest racing festivals in the world! From there, you branch out the islands surounding Abu Dhabi, then race through the rolling hills and mountains to Dubai to set up the next festival, then blaze over to Qatar to continue expanding. There’s so much potential with Abu Dhabi. I mean, we already have rally racing, offroad racing, the recently added snow racing, what else could Turn 10 do?

Playground Games, Turn 10, Microsoft… FORZA HORIZON 4 IN ABU DHABI! IT MUST HAPPEN!

me being from Chicago, would say Chicago. it would be a lot like surfers paradise except more high rises. there isn’t much significant car culture which is why i doubt turn 10 would ever agree to do it but they could also add things like the suburbs and maybe even a version of the Rosemont fashion center that you can drive through. there’s a lot they could do, but the average car is some business mans Mercedes Benz s class or something similar.

They could do something mental like recreate the whole UK map and have all the major circuits within it. So you could blast around the M25 then head West to go race at Thruxton etc etc.

Really wish they would do Las Vegas. That could be visually stunning and varying backdrops with both the casinos of the strip/downtown as well as desert environment like Red Rock.
