Thanks for the info there. I tried watching some streams but the amount of stalling for time in the maps and menus made most of them just plain unwatchable.
Looks like there is X class in this game. I was watching a stream where the player showed the leaderboard for a speed trap in Nice where one of the top results was in a X999 Bugatti Veyron.

A bit of a worry, but I do see a lot of barriers in these latests videos. The map really isn’t that big either, for sure not larger then the Horizon one. With all these barriers in place and the quite small map, I’m wondering how there is even 3x more driving space on this map.
Ehh, the way they worded things before, it was kind of a given that there would be more walls than some people were hoping for. What we have now is more golf courses, in the form of farms. It’s quite easy to rack up 3 times the space when you open up a bunch of fields.
well I think we can safely say from the Maka91’s gameplay video, I’m only 33 minutes through it as its quite in depth but from the car showroom we can see that the Camper, Alpine, willy’s Jeep and a number of the other announced new to forza or horizon are for sale that is probably why they are so desperate to keep the barn finds quiet as theres even more new to the series cars we don’t know about(for now.)
I’ve got this preordered on 360 but will still buy it in may with my Xboxone when I get it, I can’t Wait!!!
I just re-watched it and that was the ‘MY CARS’ menu.
Hmmmm… Ralph Fulton stretched over and over again that they took out all the barriers, unless they would be there in real life. You could drive through fields, forests, plains and more. Watching the videos I see barriers where there would be none in real life and forest being closed to access. Ah, well, let’s wait and see how it will be, but I think Ralph may have promised us too much again. I’m getting more and more curious on how Sumo has created and opened up the world.
I’m syre they all had prices on them though, either that or if they are barn finds them maybe you can purchase more once you’ve located each one, either way can’t wait, want 3 campers.
Maybe that means we can sell cars back to the game, barn finds included. In the 1st Horizon you could sell them but only if you had the rally expansion.
In one of the streams I watched last night, the player said that you couldn’t sell cars but only remove them from your garage like in FM5. Also the Willys Jeep is a barn find, don’t know about the VW and Renault.

why can’t you sell them ugh. They better let you in the 360 version considering it’s in 1… That make’s no sense to just remove cars
Anyone watched a stream and spotted the rally 1.6L engine?
I’ve only seen the 6.0L V12 for the Ford GT and the 6.2L V8 for the Ford Raptor…
I only caught a brief glimpse of the engine conversion menu, but this guy was upgrading a Subaru 22B and one of the available engines was “Turbo Rally”. I didn’t catch the displacement but the horsepower was 300 even. Didn’t the 1.6L in FM5 have 373 hp?
I saw it in the video above when Maka upgrades the Golf R. About the amount of HP, probably because WRC cars are limited to 300HP, more realistic now.
I didn’t catch any actual engine conversions, but one guy had a Mazda Miata that was max upgraded to X999. He commented that it had a Corvette engine with twin turbos and AWD. It did sound closer to a ZR1 Corvette and not so much like the LS1 from FM5.
New info from what I think. You can drive anywhere, but when you road trip there as part of the story, that’s when you get races. Here is a picture of the road trip championships. That photo was from here. This is just a guess, but multiple quotes, livestreams and that photo lead me to believe that.
Here is another photo, which explains it more. Once you pick a car, their are several championships you can pick from at the area. Like here, at the Casteleto (I know I butchered that) hub, this guy just picked a ram runner. Now hubs are more than upgrading, they are road trip places.
Also for the showcase events, at least for the XO version, there is only 5 this time. Quote from totalxbox:

there’s only 5 showcases? in the entire game…with 500-700 events… there was more than that in 1 and there was barely 100 events. Considering they have been talking about that nonstop that’s shocking!
