Forza 7 the best controller racer ?

I have played pc2, nfs payback, gt sport.
They are playable with a controller, but when i play forza 7 i get a big smile on my face.
The other games are to twitchie in my opinion.
In the past i played with a wheel and than is the differnce not so big.
But i think that forza the best controller racer is at this moment.
Am i wright or not ?

yes , in another way, the " default setting " of the controller is the most playable , the other games have default setting that are rubbish, too much settings and you loose hours to try to find the best settings for your drive style with the parameters… and sometimes it will never happen to find a perfect one ( project cars for example ) …

They do have the control on pad dialed in really well. Gotta give it to them there.

For precise acceleration and deceleration → xbox one controller triggers with FM
For precise steering → DS4 analogs with GT Sport

Agree on FM and the triggers, but GT Sport has great precise steering with the motion control. That’s the only way to play it with a controller!!!

IMO, yes, Forza is the best racing game with a controller.

Yes and F1 2017 is another racing game that also makes very good use of the rumble triggers, although not exactly as good as Forza does

Out of the box yes… but if you know how to tweak the settings you will find great settings in pc2. Also realize forza is arcade which drives way diff then a pure simulation. A 5 yr old can drive forza, they cant drive pc2

Which is great, imagine the disappointment of a 5 year old getting PC2 as a Christmas present then can’t play it

Nfs payback is also arcade, but it not so good to play with a controller

Where is your proof that a 5 yr old can drive Forza? Forza might not be as realistic as the other sims out there but that doesn’t mean it’s very easy especially without assists. Let me guess, next time you’re gonna say a dog can drive Forza.

My dog can “drive” Forza, it likes to drift the nurburgring in a hummer…

Silver sp-oon plays Forza 7…

If an inanimate object can play, why wouldnt a 5 year old be capable?

Turn off the assists and try again.

I didnt make the video. Go ask the person who made it.

I know you didn’t make the video. My point is, just because someone made a video to show how easy Forza is with every assists on doesn’t mean it’s arcadey. A 10 year old can solve differential equations with help from the computer (simply need to enter the equations and the computer will solve them), doesn’t mean differential equations are some elementary school maths stuff, does it?

Your argument is that a 5 year old couldnt play forza, that is wrong, thus a spoon can play. Moving the goal posts isnt an option here.

At no point was your question “Where is the proof that a 5 yr old can drive Forza without assists at all, entirely hardcore mode”…

Yes I’m wrong. A 5 year old can indeed play Forza with all assists on, therefore Forza is arcadey. A 5 year old can also solve differential equations with “assists” from a computer, therefore differential equations are easy. Your logic is perfect.

Even a piece of cutlery can drive a car in Forza.

Fair comment but T-10 probably want their offering to be usable to quite a vast audience since it is available thru Windows Store. Or more to the point Microsoft would expect it as they are volume driven…Ready or not. You can make FM7 hard enough to enjoy but easy enough for kids to have a go so there is always going to be a compromise. PC2 is good but better with the wheel. RaceRoom set to Get Real does as it says too with no forgiveness at all but hopeless with a controller even though has all options I just end up facing the wrong way. The controller setting is best in FM7 and if you set the wheel to match controller at bottom of Advanced screen it is about as good as gets too after 2 weeks trying the normal route. Even the animated arms line up
