So since my multiplayer does not work I decided to play some rivals. I must admit it is pretty fun although iv made so much cash now I’m trying to decide on what to do with it . Should I buy a P or X class car or should I buy cheaper cars and make multiple builds out of them whilst I wait for my multiplayer to be fixed again?

try to do a hard reset of your console.
it worked for me the other day when MP did not work 
Also try the Mac address reset. Usually works for me

Appologies, but been there, done that. Does not explain doing the Mac thing though. Really desperate to play leagues again, but don’t want to mess with things I don’t have the faintest idea about. Anyone who can explain the Mac thing, much appreciated.
@ Sticky Fiddler - a hard reset in short is exit from the game to the XB dashboard, quit the game, power off your XBox by holding the front power button in for a few seconds untill it power off, remove your XBox from the power supply for about 20 seconds untill you can see no light on the XB power supply and then turn it on again like you normally do. You will not loose anything.
The MAC-adress is a hexadecimal serialnumber of the networkcard. It’s at the layer 2 of the OSI-Model. It shows in the first sector the company which made the networkcard. Usually its unique, there exists alot of programs to make changes to this though. So a reset of a MAC-Adress does not make any sense, the only thing i can imagine which is meaned by that is the ARP-Cache which stores the related IP-Adress to the MAC-Adress gets flushed.

How do I do a hard re-set??? And will I lose anything?
Yea nothing has worked for me. Iv turned off my internet firewall, opened my NAT all of it even tried a load of stuff on the xbox but same error.
Hard Reset works every time for me. Usually have to do one at least once a session. Just remember the bit per FA RACING 01 about removing the lead from the back of the console until the light disappears from the power pack completely (about 1-2 mins)

Whatever floats your boat. 
I like classic cars a lot so I started buying all the cars in the game assorted from oldest to newest, now I already got all cars older than 2006 or something.
