Yeah it’s an odd one. I upgraded my standard copy pre-order to that version today in the store and the sales assistant said it came with a Dodge Charger Hellcat in-game.
I presume that just means I get the Hellcat for free rather than it being an exclusive car.
Keep your eyes peeled guys! Waiting for a physical copy myself but i want everything with it, vip, dlc etc(aside from the early access i suppose that can’t be done)
Don’t wait for a physical + DLC edition. It’s not going to happen.

I’ll just settle for the Ultimate and the Forza controller.

Yes. You can spend 60$ for the game, 30$ for the pass and 20$ for the vip. Buying the ultimate digital is 10$ cheaper.
I’d rather save money personally since I don’t trade forza games in. Especially since it’s just a standard game case I can’t see myself spending an extra 10$ to do everything individually.
If you have the Gamer Club at Best Buy, you save $12 on the game (20% off), so you come out $2 ahead. Granted, you have to pay $30 for 2 years, but that’s already paid for itself for me. That also won’t get you early access, but I am going to be out of town on business that week anyway, so it doesn’t matter to me.

With Dan Greenawalt’s “only hardcopy editions will be the standard ‘10-year’ edition” tweet confirmed and Best Buy Unplugged stating " It seems likely that it (Forza 6 Ultimate) will remain exclusive to the Xbox store. ", I’m joining the crowd conclusion that earlier plans for a hard copy F6 Ultimate is a DNF.

Part of me was hoping that they may announce a physical limited edition near the release date with the idea that a lot of people have already paid for the digital version however they’d probably then say it would cost a lot of money to bring out the physical edition with fewer people buying that (as some would now be buying digital) compared to all the previous years and copies they have done.
Still hoping however I think that’s naivety showing as I don’t really believe it will happen 
I still find it fascinating that people are expecting/hoping for physical LCE editions and the like when it has been announced, published and confirmed many many times by FM mods and insiders here as well as by T10 employees that there will not be one. I just don’t understand …

Hope can be a good and a bad thing. It can lead to better and it can lead to dissappointment.
For Forza I think some people, me included either don’t like change, have all previous Forza limited editions so were hoping it would be the same for this edition, want a physical copy over digital like other games they may own, feel that digital is overpriced, hope that someone in the company of some influence may of heard and read of numerous people asking for physical copies and so on.
Hope, in this situation may be lost and as Dan has said they won’t have one then thats pretty much that however if people chose to not have hope in anythng then theres still a moment of dissppointment and people love hopes and dreams.
