I agree, this month’s community bounty hunter kinda has split the community, with casual and “elite” drivers bickering with each other in the thread. I totally understand how the casual players feel, it’s a goal that’s not anywhere within a reasonable reach for them to achieve. I am of the opinion that the challenge is indeed a bit too difficult to really engage the entire community, I’ve stated before in that thread; that after a while I continued to try and beat the time out of spite and hatred rather than actual enjoyment of the challenge. Which I’m sure was not their intention at all.
I think the “Community Bounty Hunter” should be done by the community, if they really want to bring the community together. It would definitely liven up the challenges and keep them realistic for even the most casual of players. T10 should randomly contact an active Forza player and offer them to be the bounty each month, or perhaps multiple forza players for a tiered system of rewards.
Imagine being messaged or emailed by T10 asking if you could lay down some times on a track, like once a week for the month; you get to choose the car, class and track people to compete with. I think that would encourage more community interaction, cos now you’re not just chasing down a T10 employee; you’re chasing down a fellow Forza player who may or may not be more skilled than yourself.
