Making it’s first debut in Forza Motorsport 5 is Community Bounty Hunter. Your victim/competitor is Turn 10 Game Designer RBW Triton (Elliott).

How Bounty Hunter Works
Bounty Hunter #1 is the event.

RBW Triton will set a time, and continue to better that time throughout the week.

Event closes at 5pm Pacific on 2/26/2014.

If you have beaten RBW Triton by the close of the event you will be gifted a specially painted #4 Corvette Racing ZR1.

Notes about the car gift
As this gift is part of the shame for being beaten, if you do happen to beat Elliott make sure you show off you prize in the R Class lobbies, it is where he likes to race…lol.

So a little about me… I’ll spare all of you a lengthy history. I am the Community Design Lead for Forza which covers mostly online and multiplayer portions of the game. FM5 is my first Forza title, but I’ve been making games for quite awhile. My whole life I’ve always been racing something, Motocross, Cars, Snowboards, etc. I mostly hang around the R class hoppers and I know there are a few guys that will be happy to take down my time. I hope everyone has fun with this on a new track and an iconic car to drive. Good luck to everyone and while I may not be the fastest guy, I will be giving it my all and gunning for the top just like you.

I will update this post with my latest times. And to keep everyone on their toes, keep checking your times, I’ll be looking to set my fastest time on the last day. Until then I’ll just be learning the track and the car.

Event is up, going to allow Elliott to do a few laps first then I will open the Bounty to the masses.

Alright first time is up… Just warmed up the tires a little… I’ll be keeping an eye on the times to see when I should do another run.

Unfortunately it won’t be until late tonight that I can actually respond with a lap time! Looking forward to the challenge.

Got 2:18.0 after about 10 laps or so. Your move RBW TRITON!

Another 10 laps or so and down to 2:16.9.

Sandbagging is such a harsh term… I don’t want to scratch my paint, so just going to work into it as the week goes on. There are some fast guys though, I will have plenty of chasing ahead of me as well.

so when is this going to take place today what time I have noon right now and cannot find this challenge since I bought my xbox 12 weeks ago I have been playing nothing but Forza let’s do this

I slipped in just a few spots in front of, some encouragement to go faster :wink:

I managed 2.25 after 3 laps, but 2.19?!? I think beating johniwanna is gonna be my consolation prize for this one. lol

I was thinking the same thing. I know tires heat up roughly after 3 laps but damn. Going to have to work on this some more.

Your tires are just heating up at 3 laps… that’s about when it gets good so keep at it.

Managed to pull a 2.17:517 in the end. Given up for now! Feel I can do a little more but concentration is fading! Lol
Does take a few laps to learn the car and warm the tyres
