March Bounty Hunter aka Ladder Challenge

The next Bounty Hunter Rivals event is now live (March 14). Navigate to the Single Player / Rivals / ForzaRC menu and find the “ForzaRC Ladder Challenge” event:

“Hit the groove and compete against a field of Turn 10 drivers in this special ladder-style Bounty Hunter event. Earn up to 5 rewards for beating lap times set by the following Gamertags: RBW Triton, JONK1969, Mechberg, Gr1malian, and SchmooGnu. Plus, everyone gets a participation reward.”

“Five Bounty targets means five rewards available to players too. In fact, in addition to offering a reward tied to each Bounty target, we’re also offering a participation award for anyone who sets a time in the event. In order to win the other rewards, you’ll need to beat the Bounty target associated with that reward.”

You don’t have to follow the gamertags on Xbox Live to earn the prize but you may find it helpful to use them as the ghost Rival. If you’re not seeing a set Rival’s ghost, select the name from the leaderboard and then Watch Replay for a moment, then back out and Set as Rival and their ghost should appear. Note that bounty targets can improve their times day after day, so don’t rest until they’ve stated they’ve set their final time ahead of the community deadline.

That leaves the door wide open. Maybe we’ll see multiple people set target laps in the same event? I’m thinking something like Triton, Mechberg and Johniwanna each setting a time in one event, and prizes for beating each person on the same leaderboard. It makes sense if there are so many prizes at stake.

I just got interested in these again after staying away since the R/R Brands Hatch one that Triton did. You want me to dread these for another 2 years?

As long as there’s a participation award. I care nothing for the competition.

This is gonna be difficult. I’d better sharpen my skills. Alan was the calm before the storm. :frowning:

Actually I beat Alan at Daytona with just three laps and the first clean one was already faster. At Le Mans I was able to defeat him driving more conservatively as the career kept me sharp and I had just beaten the Vintage GT Racing cup in a car that handles similarly to the GT40 even while upgraded.

More competition? Come on I just replaced my broken controller and TV after the 66’ GT40 event.

Just kidding! Lets see you guys do your worst. :sunglasses:

Hope they put more returning cars as rewards, like they did with the '58 MGA!

[Mod Edit - don’t turn this into a car wish list. We already have one linked in the “Wish Lists Go Here” thread pinned above. - MM]

Looks like you’ve misread the thread.

Don’t …

Don’t even jest and get my hopes up

“more competitive” - I’d better prepare myself for several periods of intense frustration culminating in a lingering sensation of failure and disappointment

Let’s hope it’s not quite as brutal as the Rolls around Brands or that bloody Indy Car

In Fm4 they once had Juan Pablo Montoya as the Bounty, hopefully it’s something like that.

The Aston Martin V12 Zagato J.P. Montoya Edition?

Yeah, I remember that. It was cool.

If i remember correctly, I think it was a Lamborghini with a cool Martian paint from the bugs bunny cartoons. Drove that one proudly.
