Right. People don’t want a challenge. They just want do nothing and get a trophy for it, or they will complain.
To be fair T10 did learn and has been trying to make it fun for all skill level. Honestly this was a pretty easy challenge.
They gave the Opal to anybody that was 8.5 secs off the top time. Any player that plays more than hour month should be able to hit that time in 2 days.
The Ferrari was give out for participating in league for 4 weeks straight. This just a second chance at it. Even that wasnt out of the reach a regular for a player.
This challenge seems to be aim at the average forza players. You didn’t have to be a top driver to hit the target time on lap 2. But you have to play more than a 5min a week.
It’s not an easy challenge at all. When the players who for whatever reason use the auto shift assist can not do it it ain’t an easy thing at all. I submit that there are many many players who unlike me did not waste hours trying to accomplish this because they knew full well that since they use the unoptimum control settings they had no chance whatsoever at making it.
It’s still doable with auto/STM/ABS on, although you would be leaving 3 secs on the table.
If the assist are holding you back it times to step up and start taking them off.
I hate to be crude but, I will be honest. There lies the problem…you call it wasting time…I call it learning. Boy, CAR Lightning must have “wasted” lots of time, because he sure is good. You think we just picked up the controller and started blazing around the tracks?? No we all “wasted” our time learning how to race.
Oh look, the elitist minority come crawling out to berate those who dislike this exclusive car concept and aren’t good enough to be among the aforementioned elitist minority.
Elitist lol… they set the bar pretty low which probably 8+ sec off the fastest pace. Some thing the average forza player can do, if they try. The Ferrari (which is the bigger prize ) was already give out for participation in League.
He’s not elite. He’s just a real good Forza player like me. There’s a big difference.
He did however put in the time to “get good” and it’s paying off. Nobody who has put in the time to improve will look favorably on somebody who only keeps it casual and complains about being left out despite them not trying hard.
Yea that lap was bad. I was chasing a ghost with a 32.1 and it was easy to keep up with and beat. The last section of the track is where I suck. Had a few 31s in the bank only to forget on last corner it’s faster to brake early and let it coast than later braking and kicking the rear out.
I do think folks don’t realize if they are off the line that they can ebrake and fix the understeer. Pretty fun actually.
It’s good practice for FRC rivals but will only try once more today. Need to remember where to ebrake in the 911.
we pretty well matched. I seeing the about the same split time as you.
This car is pretty good if you don’t over drive it, going into the corners.

I know you left some time on the table. I just thought it was funny I was .002 from your time. I might have another second but that’s it. Them guys in 130’'s is just nuts
The last bounty hunter challenge I remember was in a tuned Rolls against Triton, and you had to do better. Assuming you mainly want the Manta, getting within 5s of Mechberg’s best in a stock 959 will be more attainable.
I hope he was just messing around on his initial time because on my first flying lap I beat it by 16 seconds, and I can probably count on both hands the number of times I raced VIR. lol
VIR North FYI.
The 1971 Ferrari Automobili 312 P is a beast in R Class BTW, I’d almost say it’s OP. Definitely worth getting, it’s a fun car to throw around.
