Solved!
Rip, sorry. [Edit - profanity removed. Read the Enforcement Guidelines at Forza Support. - MM]
Minecraft looking great now. But as annoyed as I am, I need FPS to blow stuff up
Devs will just say it’s a skill issue.
Challenge them all to Elim with you and DRC for money. Real money.
There is so much wrong with Eliminator I’m not even sure I’d be comfortable putting up any amount of money lol. I honestly hate it each time I play but it’s the only part of the entire game that I can somewhat enjoy. 98% frustration, 2% enjoyment. Too many of the cars don’t belong, everything you hit flips your car over, we even get stuck to trees and rocks now. Like pebbles you can’t drive over and then there are the piles of logs. Run into one of those in a buggie and you’re gonna pinball off the trees like thats the objective of the race.
I’m sure there’s a lot of cheating going on,but the video posted shows a server/game bug, not cheating. As stated above you got into a h2h that the server failed to kick you out of when the final showdown started ,which is what normally happens
Huh, what are you on about? You can clearly see that the arena boundry was the one before the final showdown boundry.
Check the minimap, and after challenging the opponent, you can see his car marker just sitting at the point where the shrinking arena will end and at around the 1:00 mark, you can see the pink dotted final showdown boundry appear, which means another 2 minutes until the final shrink + 30 seconds until the final races, so absolutley nothing to do with your theory.
That video doesn’t approve anything about cheating. I have experienced this same thing. You get challenged by a ghost - sometimes you win, sometimes the ghost wins. Nothing to do with cheaters. There’s a great chance that others have experienced the same thing, when you challenge them. The latest patch fixed some of the issues, but game is still riddled with bugs and glitches.
In this case, on a closer look, it isn’t even a ghost issue, just server lag (and maybe some bugs added as a bonus on top of that).
Doesn’t look like cheating
Think it’s more a mixed NAT thing. Game was not showing the player and blip was not moving.
Seen in multiple online events (invisible or non moving cars) but list showed they are driving or sometimes u can see checkpoint flag waving or stuff is flying around
So, are you saying that configuring your NAT a certain way, would prevent other players (who have their NAT set a certain other way), will not be able to see you properly and you’d have have an unfair advantage?
FYI, my stats are:
NAT: Open
Download 68.55 Mbps
Upload: 16Mbps
Packet Loss 0%
MTU 1480
Latency: 23ms
Not sure if they are good or bad, but they are consistent.
Nobody was cheating. In your race, you saw an AI version of other players. What you saw is not accurate compared to what other players were actually doing. If you can watch video of other players, their races will look completely different than yours. The problem is not other players. The problem is FH5 being badly designed.
I don’t even know what you mean by this comment. There is no AI version of anyone in The Eliminator, all vehicles are other players. It’s not like The Trial or offline races where AI of other players is used.
Like I said, you’re not seeing other players in those multiplayer races or events. You’re seeing an AI version (approximation) of them. You can prove it if you convoy with friends and you all record the races you run against each other. When you play back the videos of the same race, every race is different, often completely different. Something that happens to you in one race, like your buddy repeatedly smashing into you, doesn’t happen in your buddy’s race. In his race, he never hit you and might have been way ahead of you or way behind you (the AI version of you).
We are playing in a party and convoi several times a week and encounter this often, can compare what is happening by audio.
I was driving ahead of a convoi member across the dam bridge (after having overtaken him right before the bend) when he accused me of pushing him off the bridge after the bend.
I was already ahead of him several car lengths at the time of the alledged ramming.
So what I overtook was the AI version of him driving in my “FH universe”, what he fought against was the “AI me” in his.
Friend of mine was accused of pushing his colleguage beside a control point during the “make it rein” race by not braking.
At that time, in my version of the game, said colleguage was on position three, the accused friend directly behind me on two, not him.
In another race, I was on position one, my colleguages sitting idle on the starting line when I came around the lap. In their universe, they were right behind me.
