I just wanna reitterate to you guys that you need to do something about this

Simple video done by DUBS explaining about what’s going on in the Rivals and how the playing field is just utter bonkers now. Honestly, I hope you guys fix this in FH5

…what’s going on in Rivals?? …bonkers now?!

:man_facepalming:t2: where’ve you been? Sadly this isn’t anything new, par for the course, rather. But yes, I hope this gets fixed nice and tight. Shameful.

Has the guy who made the video just figured it out? It’s been going on since the start. Lack of action in three years (except against painters) illustrates that nobody in charge cares.

The cheat has enough power to drift as well. Drives a lot like an Ai actually with that weird digital drift.

Nothing new, also check any PR stunt, teleporting on eliminator and many of 7+ star players.
Randomly checked 2 today, very efficient gamers …

Hoping that FH5 will be better in this regard, but not holding my breath, as there was virtually nothing done so far.

There’s no chance of PGG fixing this for 5…my understanding is that the cheating has been clear since the game was released and nothing has been done…and has gotten much worse since the Steam release (as evidenced by the Top 5 on the Club’s Leaderboard!). Long as people are playing, they don’t really care whether people are cheating or not…they might as well put something on the support website to say cheating is condoned and encouraged as their inaction means the same thing.

They don’t realize it but FH team would indeed do a superb move just wiping out all the records with stupid times and banning associated players. It would just be like saying to every player, look, cheating is worthless, you get ban and you score is just deleted.

The other thing is that as long as ban is not visible from the game, why would I report a cheater, there is not a single trace of anything done …

as already said, dealing with cheaters is cost of opening game to PC and they don’t want to pay.

Agree El Barto, i checked several players i was racing against in Unranked Adventure and was disgusted. All of them had 1000 cars were Star 5 and 7’s and had large influence scores yet had completed very little of the game and had done so in an extremely short time frame ranging from 5 days to 70 days (that one was a guy who had all cars, was star 7 and had only completed 30 percent).

i would be open to thinking that maybe some were legit but come on, they could not have all those cars as barn finds are not all opened before 30 percent completion and certain PO cars could not have been attained as these people would not have been around when some were released (but a lot were not released anyway, only through pre order, and the valentine day ones, i think, were released before the game opened up to Steam).

Every single one was a PC player and every single one had very low Forza Score Total. Suffice to say i told one player i don’t race against cheats and quit.

I do hope they sort out these modded accounts and people creating hacks before FH5 but i agree with others that the prospect of it happening is low which may decide whether i wish to do FH5 in the future if cheating becomes the norm in FH5.

Note: was reading an article where they said a website was offering cheats for sale in games like COD that can target and kill a person anywhere on a map and also show every ammo dump and reward. If this is the future of gaming then it is very sad to see. It also mentioned that some so called top ranked players have been getting busted using these hacks and cheats…sad, very sad.

I’m waiting and seeing on FH5. I’ve been so dismayed with their radio silence on FH4’s many issues, and failure to tackle even the most low hanging fruit of cheaters (blatantly cheating leaderboard times for example) that I know at the very least I would hate myself for giving them more money.

I’m in 2 minds currently…I have FH5 pre-ordered as I want to play it. On the one hand, I want to order it because I want to play it, I enjoy racing with the people I race with (who are all getting FH5 so I wouldn’t be able to race with them anymore if I didn’t) and my contact with online racing is minimal (and I am not overly bothered by not being able to top stunt, Rival etc Leaderboards as I wouldn’t even without the cheats).

On the other hand, I am reluctant to give my money to a company that shows a complete and total disregard to it’s players, one which condones and encourage cheating. I see complaints of people getting banned for hitting someone in online (whether deliberate or accidental) yet people hacking the game have no action taken against them. Clearly Playground (and Microsoft by extension) have absolutely no problem with hackers as long as it isn’t on Xbox Live

The problem is that PGG have zero incentive to do anything as, whilst their inaction will drive a lot of players away who are loyal fans, they will pick up much more than that in terms of new players…as with most major companies in any industry, loyalty is not something that is rewarded or even recognised anymore. PGG could be excellent but they choose not to be

I am tired of the racing and Mexico doesn’t interest me as a location. Nothing from the videos I’ve seen so far has interested me either.

These games represent a lot of investment in time to get the most out of. In FH4 I’ve learned all the road courses so I can be generally competitive online etc. I am reminded of what FH4 was like on release, when I got it a few months late - early adopters had learned the tracks and got the rare competitive cars like the Bone Shaker, which were unavailable to newcomers like me. The awful paid ‘streamers’ who cheerlead for these games but don’t point out the faults because they don’t want their free copies and early access perks to dry up.

Of course, I assume once FH5 comes out, most of the community will move over to that. Whether FH4 will remain worth playing online after that, who knows. Maybe it will even improve actually.
